It hurt me to see Kieran leave like that, I knew he was hurt and I didn't want to do this but I couldn't pass up this opportunity to reunite with Celia after all these years.
I looked away from Kieran, returning my attention to Celia.
“So, what's all this talk about you being Alpha? You never mentioned anything about you being royalty.”
Celia laughed, placing an arm on my shoulder.
“Common Vee, it mustn't be that much of a surprise. I mean I do act like royalty, do I not?”
We both burst out laughing, as we reminisced on all the stuff we did as kids. The same Ceilia who enjoyed rough housing from dusk till dawn, was royalty. We laughed so hard that tears gathered at the corner of our eyes.
