Vivien He closes the bedroom door softly behind us. I wobble to the bed on my heels, a strange sort of deja vu hitting me. Seems like it’s turning out to be a regular thing, me ending up drunk after an event. I drop to the mattress with a reckless plop, laughter bubbles out of my chest as I reach down to undo my shoes. “You okay?” Kieran asks. “Peachy,” I look up at him with a lopsided grin, “I had fun tonight.” He nods, a small smile curving the edge of his mouth, “I’m glad.” “Can you help with this?” I arch my foot out, gesturing for him to help me undo the straps. “Of course.” He walks up to me, crouching down and getting them off. The second he sets the last leg on the ground, I pounce on him. The force of our bodies clashing almost sends him to the ground as I straddle him
