When we got to work, Dad and I went our separate ways. He went to his office to work, and I went to mine. When I got to my door, my assistant wasn't there yet. I knew that when he got in, he'd come into my office to go over a few things that needed to be done for today. As well as things that needed to be done before I left.
I sat down at my desk and, after taking my laptop out of my briefcase, I turned it on and started going over paperwork. This is the part of the job that I hate the most. It's long hours of sitting at a desk doing mundane, boring work. But it has to be done to keep all of our businesses running the way that they should.
