When I got back to the house after dealing with those guys, I went straight to Tink and Veer. I sat on the couch with Tink's feet and Veer on my lap. I loved being close to both of them. I could tell that Veer missed me when he crawled into my lap and started to babble at me. We sat around and talked until it was time for dinner.
When it was time to go and eat, I handed Veer to Jude, and then I stood up and scooped Tink into my arms. I carried her into the dining room and sat her down at the table. Then I sat down beside her. Veer was in a high chair beside Octavia. She made sure that he had a plate of food and that he was able to eat it.
