We continued to talk on the way to Bears' property. Leandro was confused about why we were going all the way out there to spend time together. I kind of smirked because he'd be happy about why we were going out there. But at the same time, I was nervous. I was biting on my lip when Bear reached over and pulled it from between my teeth.
When I looked over at him, he just turned to me and winked. Then he went back to watching the road. He and Leandro were talking about the trip that Leandro would be taking with my dad. I wasn't really paying attention because I couldn't care less about what happens to my mom. As far as I was concerned, they could stab 'em, slab 'em, and feed 'em to the pigs out in their stab shack.
