I got into the car on the passenger side and put Veer in his car seat. Since he was still under two, his car seat was rear-facing, so he was lying down. Thankfully, I was able to get him in it and fastened, and he stayed asleep. I covered him up with his blanket and laid his stuffy down by his feet. I set my purse and the cooler on the floor by my feet and then shut the door so that I could put my seat belt on.
We were taking a few different vehicles. Oliver was riding with us, and the dogs were in the very back seat, so we had a full car. So Bear's parents rode in the SUV with Leandro's parents.
