The next morning, when I woke up, I was still lying across Bear's chest. His hand was gently moving across my back, so I knew that he was awake. I snuggled up against him even tighter and sighed. I had slept better last night than I had in years.
When I finally looked up at him, Bear was already looking at me, watching me. "Good morning, baby. How did you sleep? And how are you feeling this morning?" he asked me. "Good morning, handsome. I slept better than I have in years. You are so comfy. And other than still not being able to see out of my left eye, I'm feeling good. How are you doing this morning?" I asked him.
