When Bear said that he had a prize for us, I was not expecting for it to be a dog, or two. When we got to their training center and walked in, I was surprised to learn that he was getting me a dog. He wanted one that would help with protection and PTSD. And Shadow let me know that they are also trained to detect different health issues, as well as panic attacks.
He had a dog picked out for me, but that one went straight to Veer, and another dog came to me and sat at my feet. The dog that went to Veer was named Demon. He said that he named him that when he was first born because of how mean he was to the other dogs. But over time, he worked that out of him; now he was an obedient dog.
