After the hell that I went through, I ended up being in the hospital for a day before I got to go home. My blood pressure was high when I was checked in, and they never mentioned it until I was settled into my room. Once I was in a room, they let me know that they'd be keeping an eye on it. When it didn't go down, they called my OB-GYN in, and she put me on a blood pressure medicine that would be safe for the baby.
They kept me the extra day to make sure that everything would be ok with it. They wanted to make sure that the medicine would bring my blood pressure down. And they kept an eye on the baby as well. Thankfully, the first medicine that they tried helped and brought it down.
