Once we started out on the road, Bear dropped back so that he was riding right behind us. I could see and hear him the whole drive. As we drove through town, I watched out the window the whole way. I was hoping that I would see something that would spark a memory for me. But so far, nothing did.
Dad looked over at me and asked me, "Does anything in town seem familiar to you?" I shook my head no and said, "No, nothing does. I don't recognize anything in this town." He nodded his head and pulled his phone out. He hit a button on it and then put it to his ear. "Hey, Luciano, I want to drive by the bakery. Nothing else is standing out to my girl. So maybe it will. If it doesn't, then I'm praying that her seeing Veer will bring her memories back to her," Dad said into the phone.
