After I walked Leandro and Rodion downstairs, I said goodbye and watched them drive off. After they were gone, I shut and locked the door and then headed back upstairs. I had to get Veer bathed and ready for the day. I had to admit, I was going to miss Leandro while he was gone. It's been nice being able to see him again. I had missed him so much over the past few years.
When I got back upstairs, Veer was still in his high chair and most of his food was gone. I could tell that he was just playing with it all now. Everyone else was still sitting around the table or in the living room. I walked over to Veer and took him out of his seat. "Come on, my little nugget. It looks like you are done eating and need a bath," I said to him.
