As was rarely ever the case, the castle had an effervescent spirit today. The maidens, guards, and soldiers were all busy, everyone doing their part to welcome King Laxso and his family, whom we will be hosting.
Laxso was the king of Astonia, and Father had sent word to him to bring his entire family to our castle so that we can host them for a week. Everyone else seemed so excited that we would be hosting them; there would be many events set up— dancing, talent shows, matches between knights, singing, just to name a few.
So, yes— everyone in the castle and beyond appeared to be excited about the coming of the Astonian royal family.
