I got enraged as I walked away from Alpha Xavi and Lady Shilla. It got me wondering what he wanted from me. He did not want me as a mate, yet he did not want to reject me. I did my rounds hastily that morning and stomped to the river. I thought of the Alpha and Lady Shilla all day as I did my rounds and at some points, tears stung my eyes.
