I ran out of Alpha's room and found myself in the corridor. Thankfully, there were no guards around. I made my way down to the end of the long hallway but was shocked to stop as I got near the end of the hallway. The moonlight that usually streamed into the hallway from the entrance was blocked out by a solid bulk of male. It didn't take me long to realize it was the Lycan King.
I gasped and gulped in fear, my eyes almost popping out of their sockets. I was certain I left him on the floor whimpering in pain and the effect of the wolfsbane. How did he get here? How was he standing in front of me? My body shuddered at the thought of what he would do to me then. I had bitten more than I could chew and wouldn't escape it.
