I dragged my eyes away from the receding man and shook my head. "No, he did not."
Shanti started walking toward the fallen tree truck. "Good. That's Alpha Khalil, he is the Alpha of all Alphas although he is not a Lycan and obtained the title cunningly."
I followed her and wanted to ask her why she felt Alpha Khalil obtained the title falsely. Was it because it was not given to her brother? I wanted to let her know that everything does not revolve around Alpha Xavi, but I knew that would be my angry side speaking, so I kept mute and let her speak. I am sure she would have a better explanation for not coming to see me in that semi-prison I was put in, all in the name of being taken care of.
