I ran naked through the wet foliage, not minding the bristles that tore at my skin as I ran. I wanted to get away from the beast coming behind me. But the earth was so damp that my legs stuck in the mud and it was difficult for me to run as fast as I wanted. The wolf was fast, despite the mud, it didn't hold him back. I turned back and saw his fiery eyes glaring at me and his fang flashed in the dark like a blade. I turned to my front again to run, but my ankle was caught in a twig and it sent me crashing to the ground. I didn't let it stop me.
