Taking a moment to observe the layout of Erlangen, I noticed wisps of elemental magic rising into the sky from a variety of places. A flicker of spiritual red fire caught my eye to the west—a sizzling shield protecting something near a two-story house in the old section of the city. Wow, I thought to myself, realizing Philipp was not the only Teuton who used his element to defend his property. I glanced beneath me, tracing the edges of my Truhtein’s violet-black shield, a proud smile curving my lips. Focusing again on the magic in the air, I realized that I could sense each Teuton spirit occupying my city.
