My awakening the next morning is a déjà vu of the day before. The sun's rays filtering through the curtains force me to open my eyes heavily. I sit to discover the pair of sleeping idiots with mouths hanging loose and limbs intertwined, so I hit them again with a pillow to drag them out of the dream world. “Do you have a single ounce of subtlety in your body?” Steve grunts with his voice still hoarse. “No,” Nate separates from Steve, sitting between the pile of wrinkled sheets on the floor. “Assholes like him don’t usually have it.” “I’m going for a run; will you join me?” I decide to ignore the insult, stretching my arms over my head, the bones in my back rattle. “Are you insane?” Steve squeals, like I knew he would. “I hate waking up early, and you want me to run?” “It might be good
