I leave behind another decoration on my way to the locker room. This time it was an oversized pumpkin with a crooked smile and lights twinkling from its orange interior. I've never seen the appeal of Halloween; of all the celebrations that take place each year, my favorite is Christmas.
Mom makes an amazing baked turkey with the best stuffing I've ever eaten in my life, along with a big bowl of potato salad and freshly baked bread... just thinking about that feast, my stomach roars in protest and my mouth turns to water. Today's workout was pretty grueling, so I imagine some of the hunger is due to the large amount of exercise I worked out.
