The two of them arrived at the basement. As soon as they stepped out of the elevator, Jax was already there waiting.
"Madam." Jax didn't ask too many questions, but his concern was evident.
"I'm fine," Annabelle assured him.
Jax nodded.
Kendrick turned to his furious little wife and told her that Ada and the man were locked in separate rooms. He asked her which one she wanted to deal with first.
Annabelle hesitated for a moment. "I'll see Ada first."
Seeing the murderous aura around her, Jax started to wonder—if Madam really took care of Ada and that criminal, how was he supposed to clean up the mess afterward?
Under Jax’s guidance, Annabelle arrived at Ada's room.
"Do you need me to go in with you?" Kendrick asked.
"No."
