Annabelle stared at Young Master, momentarily lost in disbelief.
It had been so long since she'd seen him, and barely even a glimpse of him during the day. Yet now, he stood right in front of her, in his own home.
He set the tray of food on the table, walked over to the balcony, and gently ruffled her hair with a smile. “What’s wrong? Gone silly?”
Snapping back to reality, Annabelle murmured, “Young Master… thank you for last night.”
Ryan paused for a moment. Though it wasn’t technically “last night” but the night before last, he didn’t correct her.
