"Not necessarily." An hour later, Marvin walked into the café with Linda. Annabelle had already arrived, sitting by the window in a loose ivory-colored turtleneck sweater. Her hair fell softly over her shoulders as she held a cup of hot coffee, staring out the window in quiet thought. Marvin paused for a moment, mesmerized by her. No matter how many times he saw her, every time he looked at Annabelle from a distance, he was struck by that same rush of emotions, just like the first time they met—his heart felt as though it was taken by her completely. He truly wished that Annabelle was his.
