Linda couldn’t help but think to herself. Scott had an executive meeting soon, which would likely last until 8 PM. So, Julissa’s date couldn’t possibly be with him. Could it be that she already had a boyfriend?
Linda decided to clarify. “Is Miss Julissa going out with her boyfriend?”
The word “boyfriend” made Julissa momentarily pause. That’s right, Zane was her boyfriend now.
“Uh… we just met through a blind date and are still getting to know each other.”
