The Excursion Quincy attended the prestigious boarding school Queens Academy. Boarding schools had a fair share of scandal, a male teacher had been gang r***d by female students in an all girls achool, a visually impaired student had been r***d in an all boys school during inter house sports. The school organized an acculturation trip annually to the three regions, the West, the East and the North as a distraction from the scandal, he made his choice to visit the North. On arrival at the Murtala Muhammad Bridge, the lead chaperones muttered "This is the Murtala Muhammad Bridge, the river below is the Niger River, on arrival at Abuja, they saw the heart shaped gate. "This is is the Abuja City Gate, if you stare at the top of the gate you would see Welcome to Abuja", the chaperone muttered as he pointed at a heart shaped gate. They lodged at the Transcorp Hilton. The next mornig they paid a visit to the National Assembly, in time for a plenary session and they were welcomed by the Senate President, Abi Ola. They were driven to Lokoja. By morning they visited the Confluence town and feasted their eyes on the confluence of the Niger and Benue Rivers. In the afternoon the palace of the Egba of Egbbiraland. By evening they drove through Kaduna, at the Kaduna bridge, the chaperone told them that Kaduna is the Hausa word for crocodiles which were discovered in the Kaduna River, they arrived at Kano by night. By morning they visited the Kano City Walls which was one of the few enclosed structures existing aside the Benin Walls, and the Great Walls of Zimbabwe, the Great Walls of China, where they learnt that Kano was one of the seven Hausa States, the rest being Kastina, Gobir, Kebbi, Daura, Zazzau, Zaria, established by the seven sons of Babajida, and a trade center and a city state during the Hausa States period. In the afternoon they visited the Kano Groundnut Pyramid which was said to be the highest groundnut pyramid in the world by the their tour guide. By evening they drove to Bauchi. The next morning they arrived at Bauchi. By afternoon they visited the Yankari Game Reserve and took pictures of wild animals at the park. By evening they drove to Plateau. By morning they visited the Jos Museum and Zoo. By afternoon they visited Jos Wildlife Reserve. By evening they hiked the Mambilla Plateau. By late evening they drove to Abuja. They packed up and boarded a bus to Lagos. He was picked by his father at the school facility and driven to Yenagoa where his father lived afterwhich he was driven to Rivers to visite her mum's at Port Harcourt. He visited his paternal grandparents at their beach house on the Ibeno, he swam the Atlantic and subsequently his maternal grandparents' on the Obudu Mountain in Calabar and visited the Obudu Cattle Ranch.
