THE VOICE

Marcus tried to soothe Angel by holding her and rocking her back and forth telling her," It's okay my love, it's okay. I got you now. I won't let anything happen to you." Angel finally stopped crying and looked up at he's face and thinks to herself," Did he just call me his love?" Marcus wiped her tears from her cheek and just as he was about to kiss her, he heard someone coming from the front desk. He pulls away and grabs her back pack and her hand, as they ran out the side of the building toward the parking lot. Once they got in front of a car, Marcus opens the passenger car door and tells her," Get in." Angel looks behind herself and then back at him and asked," Marcus, who's car is this and where are we going?" Marcus laughs a little and replies, " This is my car and I'll the you where when you get in the car." Angel was hesitant, but for some reason she trusted him, so she got in. After leaving the school grounds and driving about 20 minutes Angel asked," You said if I got in the car you would tell me where we're going, well?" Marcus smiles and says," We are going to my house so we can be alone and you can tell what happen in the library." Angel almost forgot about it and she wish she still could. They pulled up to a big metal gate that started to open as they got close to it and he drive in. The gate closes as he continues driving down the driveway. Once the house came into view, Angel couldn't believe her eyes. The house was huge and beautiful. She has never seen a house like this, ever. She has lived in this town her whole life and she never knew this house was even here.Once they got in front of the house, a man was waiting outside for them. Angel was wondering if this man was his father and if they were about to be in trouble. The man open Angel's door and held out his hand to help her out of the car. Marcus was already out as he made his where toward them. Marcus says," Thank you Steven. Can you ask Mary if she could bring Angel and I some ice tea in the living room please and maybe some sandwiches. Steven bows slightly and leans the way into the house. Once inside, Marcus takes Angel on a tour of the house. Angel was so fascinated with the house she couldn't believe her eyes. It was an 8 bedroom, 9 baths, with 3 living rooms, 2 dens, about 4000 sq ft house, on about 50 acres land. On the outside, there was 2 swimming pools, 2 Jacuzzi, a basketball court, tennis court, football field and a racing track around the football field and I could go on, and on, and on.... After about  2 hrs tour, they enter the living room where there was a pitcher of ice tea and small cut up sandwiches on the coffee table. Angel's stomach started growling. She felt so embarrass to have Marcus hear that, her face turned red. Marcus laughed as they sat down on the couch. There was a lady standing the side of the couch, as she started to grab the pitcher to pour our drinks, when Marcus says," That will be all Brenda. I can do this thank you." She looked shock to hear him tell her that as she looks at me and smiles as she bow her head and leaves. Marcus pours our glasses and puts a couple of sandwiches on a small plate. We started to eat and wash it down with ice tea. After we were done, Marcus grabs her hand," Come, I want to show you my bedroom." It was on the third floor and the whole floor was only his. It was freaking huge. He had his own living room, a kitchen, an office, his bedroom, and the biggest bathroom she has ever seen. She sits in his living room as he seats next to her and says," Well my love, I think it's time to tell me what happen in the library that scared you." Her eyes open wide as she thought about that voice she hear. " Marcus...I don't know...if I can."
