Chapter 6 The Goblin Attack

Leisurely days always pass quickly, especially for the servants in Eagle Fort.

The assassination that happened a month ago had long faded from their memories. The explanation given by the butler, Jess, was very reasonable. The assassin had been dealt with by Lord Kane, and the crisis had been resolved on the same night.

The castle servants, filled with worry, all stared outside the city walls, hoping that the upcoming operation would proceed smoothly.

Shortly after, Kane, mounted on a white stallion, arrived outside the city. He was clad in exquisitely polished armor and gripped the family - heirloom sword in his hand.

By now, all the soldiers and cavalry within the territory had assembled. Marcus and Catherine stepped forward from the ranks and took their positions beside Kane.

"Lord Kane, all 24 members of the cavalry unit are present and accounted for."

"Lord Kane, 42 armed infantrymen and 3 scouts have all arrived."

Excluding the 6 casualties from the cavalry patrol and the castle guards, all the military forces of the Regit Territory were gathered here.
