Chapter 13 The Dinner Feast

On this day, the sky was slightly bright, the sunrise had not yet risen, and the rooster's crow had just sounded in the distant village of Maike.

Knight Horst had already come to the training ground early and started his morning training with his team members.

The council of three was then dismissed, and the two of them, Marcus and Catherine, headed to the barracks and went to train the new recruits, while Kane performed his morning exercises within the lord's training grounds.

During the month of January in the medical room, Kane had basically dealt with these important documents through the butler Jace, but today he could finally hear them in person.

Hurrah, the door to the room within the study was opened once again. Knight Horst rushed in and looked at Kane as if he had something to say.

It looked like the man was still maintaining his slightly careless persona.

The soldiers cheered.

“Raise a glass to our brothers who died in battle.”

“Raise your glasses!!!”

Seemingly touched with emotion, many soldiers' eyes glowed red.

As soon as he poured red wine into his mouth, Kane continued. “Enjoy tonight's feast, everyone.”

After saying that, he left the parlor with Catherine and Marcus.
