Misunderstanding again

The tension in CEO's office was so intense and for few moments we were silent contemplating the full gravity of the situation, just when we were in that tension, a phone call was heard from Tom's hand when he saw who was calling he picked up immediately, Hello sir! I am a maid from grandma Mary's resident,Tom held his phone tightly, the one on the other side of the speaker added, grandma Mary was sent to the hospital few minutes ago as she just fell from the stairs! Tom stood up abruptly panick surging, he picked his car keys and started to walk towards the door, i asked, what wrong sir? He just replied,my grandma got an accident while she was at home so am rushing to the hospital! I scrambled to get my handbag and run towards the CEO who was few feets away from the elevator, when we reached at the ground floor he run to get his car and he drove to me and i got into a car and we sped off, he drove the car with a high speed,my head was spinning as i remember the day i lost my mother due to a car accident,i said, drive safely sir please! I was sweating on my forehead and hands were shaking, when Tom saw me in such state he somehow calm down a little bit.

We reached at the hospital entrance and parked the car we came with just per the guidance given, we came out from the car and rushed towards the ward were he was told grandma Mary was admitted to, he nearly bumped to a man with wheelchair,but didn't hesitate to move forward, i apologised to the man in the wheelchair and he nodded while accepting my apology, finally we reached at the hospital room where grandma was in, we found few people in there along with a doctor seems like explaining something to the family members,when they heard a door being opened they all looked at our direction, a certain woman started to whale crying while saying, Tom look at the state your grandma is into! She call you mostly but you don't come home mostly to see her! What if this is her last, before she even finish the sentence a man grabbed her hand and said Jeniffer stop! Can't you see things are awkward enough? Tom didn't utter a word he just stood frozen his glued to the frale body sleeping on the hospital bed, Gilbert who is Tom's uncle said everyone lets leave a space for Tom to stay with his grandmother! They agreed and started to leave, i also followed them out.

Hellow miss! A young boy stood before me and greeted me,hellow little one! I replied,do you remember me? He asked, i tried to memorise as to where did i saw this chubby little boy! I touched his chubby cheeks with my hands and said, its okay and i will always jump to help such handsome boys like you! His cheeks became pink and gave out a small smile! Feeling shy haaa? He kept smiling, and who are you? Asked the woman called Jennifer who cried loudly when he saw Tom entering the hospital room few moments ago, i am a personal secretary of mister Tom! Ooh just his company worker why do you have to come close and talk with my son casually?what do you want to gain from this?I just stared at her and thought, is it in the blood of this family to misunderstand and accuse people without solid proof?Jennifer stop making a fuss we are still in the hospital, loud voices aren't allowed! Then the man called Joseph turned to me and said, am sorry miss please don't take to heart on what she said,i replied, its okay sir.

Little Sam interjected,this pretty miss saved my life!when Joseph heard he said, thank you miss for saving my son's life, his face carried gratitude, i said its nothing really! I Just happen to be there sir maybe it was God's will! Jennifer scoffed and sneared in distain then said, are you sure this isn't any of your schemes? I think you happened to be there for a purpose! I nearly choked at my own saliva just by hearing a well made scene and i can say it is a perfect imagery, i said, miss you should be a drama's script writer or become an actress yourself! Every Kingsley family member was shocked hearing for the first time in years someone who isn't Tom has managed to put Jennifer in place! Even Joseph was forced to put up with her charade most of the time! You! You! Jennifer stammered and said while trying to slap me on my cheeks, i held her wrist and say my parents will be the last people to touch my cheeks with a slap! Jennifer withdrew her hand as she touched fire with her bare hand, i finally realised that Tom had already stood there participating like any other Kingsley family member available with his outstanding aura, i took a step back! Trying to find words to defend myself but found non,Jennifer started to cry crocodile tears,and said,oh Tom look how this foul woman did to my wrist! Just fire her this instant! She doesn't deserve to be your personal secretary! Tom didn't look at Jennifer's direction,he just looked at me with the intense eyes of his,Tom did you hear what i said? Jennifer repeated, that's when Tom asked her, since when you have a saying on how i should handle my company stuffs? Jennifer gasped in shock and eveyone went dead silent after hearing what Tom said.
