A Club Marked for Destruction - (Victoria)

758 Words
Victoria wouldn't be staying at Myrddin Academy much longer, which worried her a little, after all although Stanis, Seraph and Marcus were still hanging around to help the Six Warriors, the truth is that boys could be a bit impulsive at times. Her departure, however, would be temporary, and she had long been preparing for the moment when she would become a Valkyrie, a special troop made up only of women and of which Alexia and Aretha were part beyond being mere Guardians. Alexia was a troop officer and Victoria would have special permission to leave the school for a while for training. As she thought about all this, Victoria walked with Stanis around the academy field. He was still in his school uniform, and he looked especially awkward in it as the outfit was too tight on his big frame. "Do you remember Bruno?" Victoria asked Stanis. "That weirdo? How would I forget?" "Yeah, you know, after that day I didn't hear from him anymore. The day the boys were chosen as Six Warriors." "Ah, THAT day…the tour, I remember. Who knew that sort of thing would happen? Who knew those guys would be chosen as the legendary Six Warriors." "Where is Bruno up to?" Victoria asked "I keep wondering, he just disappeared." "He must have died," Stanis replied lightly. "Stanis!" Victoria chided "I'm worried. We should investigate when we can get back to our world." "Cool" he then pulled something out of his pocket. It was a black bandanna, with a skull in the middle. "What is that?" "Phantom Lord. The guys asked to deliver it to you, they made this club to maybe get information more easily through the academy, whether you like it or not the force is respected here." "I think these boys are looking for trouble" Victoria sighed and took the bandanna. At this point, Victoria noticed four boys eyeing them suspiciously. They wore denim vests, with torn sleeves, with some symbol on the back. "But what is this for?" the girl asked, ignoring the boys. "It's the identification of the club that…" At this moment, the boys with vests surrounded the two and stared for a long time. "What do you want?" Victoria asked. "This guy" one of them said, a boy with a ridiculous devilock hair and skinny face "he's from Phantom Lord isn't he?" "Yes he is" confirmed another "he is!" "Let's finish him!" A third boy spoke. "Let's stick his face on… in the privy!" Victoria's heart raced. Stanis was sweating nervously beside her. He was a very big boy, and he was very strong, but also very kind and awkward. "Leave him alone!" Victoria growled. She wasn't as pacifist as her friend. "Get out, girl!" said the one with the devilock hair "or you'll have it too." "That's it" agreed another "no member of Iron Fist can have pity on enemies, the Phantom Lord is our enemy." The boys charged against Stanis, who was unresponsive. Victoria growled. "You better go" one of the boys said with a vest said "we just want to teach the big guy a lesson." "You better not underestimate me!" She growled, but remembered the recommendations of the Valkyries and the Order of Interdimensional Guardians. "Fighting civilians only in matters of life and death." Stanis must have remembered that too, for he didn't react as the boys beat him mercilessly. “No… I can't allow that! I'm going to finish these guys!" thought the girl. "Victoria, no! Remember our orders!" Stanis yelled as if predicting what she was about to do. She had never seen him so serious "Don't hurt yourself because of me. Some blows like that are nothing to me" he smiled at her "just watch how hard I can take it." "Shut up!" A boy yelled, punching him in the stomach.  “Stanis…” Victoria thought sadly “what do you think you're doing? That amount of blows, even for you…”. She was distressed, but she knew why he was doing this. He knew she wanted to pursue a career as a Valkyrie, and he also knew the punishments inflicted on those who broke the rules. He was sacrificing himself for her, and that was such a noble thing that only someone kind like him could do it. "Hey, the girl is also a member of the Phantom Lord one of the delinquents said she has to suffer too." Stanis looked at her desperately. Now, it was her turn to see how much she could bear without reacting.
