Battle Convocation - (Arthur)

447 Words
At the headquarters of Phantom Lord Arthur sensed a great commotion. He was getting more and more irritated by the cowardly attitude of so many members there, they were simply spoiling Arthur's excitement for the coming battle. "Are you saying we're going to fight Iron Fist?!" Shouted a boy, frightened and angry. "Yeah," Fenrir replied with his blasé attitude. "Are you crazy, you i***t?! They're not a club you can pick a fight with! I'm not taking any chances, I'm not crazy!" "He's right! I'm not staying at a club where my physical integrity is at such risk!" Agreed another. "You cowards!" Arthur yelled back, very annoyed. He just got really angry when he saw cowardice in the face of battle. "Anyone who wants to leave, please feel free" Fenrir said without bothering "when leaving, cross your names off the inscription." "You who were from the Odaiv g**g" said Paul, one of Odaiv's friends, "should stay. Our boss was demoralized by these barbarians and…" "Shut up, you dammit i***t!" The frightened boy yelled back, cutting Paul off "I was only in that stupid g**g because that horse-faced clown gave me money!" "He's right" the other agreed, "Odaiv was always a fool, only you and Pablo respect that stupid ugly, we don't care a bit if he was demoralized, he was always ridiculous!" Paul was silent, looking incredulous. At this point, Katy decided to show up. "Oh hi Katy" Fenrir greeted while still sitting "how are you?" "Oh… I'm fine. I see this place here is very lively." "Yes, a bunch of fearful ones are making noise, but they're leaving so they don't disturb the party." The members of the Phantom Lord deserted en masse, until only a percentage of what had been there was left. "Twenty guys," Arthur growled angrily, "twenty, where we once were eighty." "I'm counting fifteen," Fenrir observed. "A lot of our club members dropped out too," Eric said, "putting our two clubs together and being very optimistic, maybe we can last like five minutes against Iron Fist." "Hey Eric!" rebuked Arthur. "I'm being realistic." "We can't back out now" said Fenrir "I've launched a challenge." "You're right" Miguel agreed, "if we give up now, this club will never be respected, if we fight and lose, it will be less demoralizing, if we fight and win we will make our name. It's like the Roman saying ALEA JACTA EST would say ." "The die is cast" Fenrir smirked. "I'm not saying run away" Eric justified, "I'm saying go aware of the beating we're going to take." "You maybe" Arthur punched his hand "I can finish them off! I'm strong!" "That's the spirit." Fenrir smiled.
