The Watching Little Creature - (Ethan)

Without speaking, without any context, without any explanation, Marcus jumped and then a spinning kick in the air, which made Ethan startled. Amazingly, Marcus had hit something that was invisible before, it seemed to be some kind of fur ball that with the kick was thrown back and stopped when it bumped into a wall. Marcus went to the place and Ethan followed him, they both saw a little creature whimpering on the floor, bringing its little arms to his face.

"What... What happened here?" Ethan asked.

"This little guy has been following us since we got to this school...no, maybe before." Marcus replied seriously.

The little creature looked... well, nothing like Ethan had ever seen before, but the head's appearance looked like some kind of small rabbit with big ears, its body was very small and plump with lots of fluffy white fur, it had wings that didn't at first they were furry, but in the end they were like fairy wings, above his head he had a halo and his eyes were very large and watery, pink in color like an albino rabbit, there was a pink stone in the middle of his forehead too. He walked on two legs like a human and... well, although he was cute, it was either weird or different.

"Say it at once, what do you want?!" Marcus seriously asked the little creature, in attack position, pointing his fist at the thing as if he were facing a great threat.

"Hey man, is this really necessary? I mean, he…or she…this…doesn't seem too threatening to me."

"I never underestimate my opponents!" Marcus replied sternly, "no matter what they look like, I never underestimate them."

The little creature then looked at the two with tearful eyes and then began to yell in a high-pitched voice things that were incomprehensible to Ethan and Marcus too, apparently. Ethan felt like laughing.

"Hey, what kind of cowardice are you two doing with this lovely creature, huh?" Elza asked appearing there along with Miguel, Sam, Victoria, Stanis and Seraph. She strode over to the little creature and took it in her arms, like someone holding a puppy of something, with the little creature in her arms Elza glared at Marcus and Ethan, "you should be ashamed!"

"I did nothing!" Ethan defended himself.

"Exactly! Let this brute beat this adorable little creature, I expected more from you, Ethan Celestian!"

"This creature has been following us for a long time" Marcus defended himself, "I don't underestimate my opponents, no matter if they look cute or horrible."

"If I'm not mistaken, this is a sadhvi, a kind of beneficial and harmless creature." Miguel spoke.

"It's not just that!" Elza said, "sadhvis follow those they think have a good heart and are loyal friends for a lifetime, what have they done to you, sweet creature?" Elza asked the little one, who started to say incomprehensible things, but Elza seemed to understand. "Her name is Indira" said Elza, "she said she was wandering aimlessly through Lightland, with no memories and no apparent purpose, but then she sensed a gathering of good-hearted adventurers in a certain place and followed that energy, so it all happened to make sense, her goal was to become a loyal friend to those kindhearted heroes and help them on the path of good, so she started to follow them. You were these adventurers, that's why she kept watching you, to protect you from any harm that could hurt you, she also wanted to get close to you and have fun with you, as she felt that you had fun when you were together, but the nature of sadhvis is to be very shy, so she just watched from afar trying to build up the courage for a friendship and possibly help them when danger was near. Think of her as a guardian angel."

Seraph laughed.

"Well, it looks like these friends of mine just screw up."

"It is the danger that brings ignorance." Miguel scolded.

"Yeah…you could say it wasn't the best performance." Ethan said embarrassed, Elza glared at them.

"Apologize to Indira now!"

"Well…sorry" Ethan asked awkwardly.

"S-sorry" Marcus said embarrassed, after all he had given the little creature a spinning kick.

"Very well, as Indira is a little angel you don't deserve, she said she forgives you and is very happy that you are now friends." Elza said.

"Dude, how do you understand this thing?" Seraph wanted to know.

"Don't call her a thing! Well, it's actually a long story."

Sam approached Indira who was still in Elza's arms and began to caress the little creature.

"She's really cute," Sam said as he petted her, but suddenly, the smile on the boy's face disappeared. "Dude, with all this fuss, we forgot we were looking for Ethan to tell him what happened to Jack, Fenrir and Arthur."

"Wait, did something happen to them?" Ethan asked.

"Yeah" Seraph smirked, "they screwed things up."
