The Die is Cast - (Jack)

846 Words
Jack and his friends arrived at their clubhouse. Ethan and Sam were at his side. Opening the club's doors, he realized it was more empty than he would have liked. "So" he said "where's the rest of the guys?" "My club members are yet to arrive," Eric replied. "Emma will come with them. Don't expect too much, many were afraid of the Iron Fist." "No, I'm talking about the eighty members of Phantom Lord." "The cowards have taken their toll!" sneered Arthur. Jack hoped Boarders would have plenty of members. "Hey man, what's the strategy?" Jack asked Fenrir. "Strategy? What strategy?" Fenrir looked at Jack as if he had spoken nonsense. "You're the leader, didn't you come up with any?" "I am not the leader, I am simply the founder." "So who is the leader?" "We don't have one, we are a cooperative." "I say my strategy Fat-Jack" Arthur raised his fists "these brothers here hitting those idiots' faces. That's it, that's the strategy, we just hit them!" Arthur spoke punching his own hand. Fenrir laughed. "Despite what Fenrir says, we did come up with a strategy" Miguel said, "an improvised one, but it should be better than nothing, yet, as I said before... things are what they are... the die is cast. Meet Mike, I met him in Section 4 of the dorm." a boy appeared there, he was a boy of medium height and black shaggy hair. "I shouldn't be in section 4 of that dorm" Mike said with a smirk, "although they say they don't have specific criteria for selecting students, they do, I just figured out methods to get around that system and get myself into a good dorm, but not such a good one that they would not suspect my fraud." "Mike is an information expert at this academy" Miguel explained, "he knows a lot about secret passages and strategic points of the academy, including the woods, he also knows Iron Fist's fighting style, he's unruly and they attack everyone from once, according to Mike." "It makes our life easier" Mike said, still smiling "because Iron Fist is strong enough without it, besides, they have more members than us, they will have the numerical advantage, but I have a few things, a few illusion gadgets that will help us. You know, like we've created traps, and we have more members than we actually have." "We'll stay at a strategic point in the woods," Miguel said, "where we can have two high points, corner Gartham's men on two fronts, reduce our numbers disadvantage." "Eric brought some healing potions and first aid items" he said "even so, try not to get too hurt." "I can guarantee it!" Arthur confidently said "I just can't guarantee they won't get hurt too bad!" "Yoooshi! I'll show you how much stronger I got" Jack said with his arms raised in a fighting stance. "What about Emma?" Sam wanted to know "I mean… what about the others?" "We'll meet them on the way" smiled Fenrir "let's go." On the way they ran into Emma, the Phantom Lord and Boarders had a force of sixty-five people together, Jack thought that would be a good number, but that was only until he began to hear heavy footsteps coming from the other side of the woods. Jack's heart raced. "They're coming" He said solemnly. "Oh, really?" asked Fenrir sarcastically "I thought I was imagining sounds. Good thing I'm not going crazy isn't it?" Coming through the trees, several members of the rival club appeared, some scowling, some amused, and in front of them all was Gartham, with Jaden at his side. They started making fun of the Ghost and the Boarders, calling them all sorts of bad things. "Let's crush them!" someone shouted from the crowd beside them. "Order!" demanded Gartham in a powerful voice. "You promise-breaking bastards! You're going to die! Traitors!" Eric looked at Fenrir. "What is he talking about?" "I have no idea!" Fenrir looked confused. "Hey you metal ogre, what are you talking about?" He screamed. "Don't play dumb, you pissed-off brat!" Gartham yelled back, looking furious. "You have betrayed our trust you bastards!" The boys looked at each other. "What's he talking about?" Miguel asked "Fenrir, what did you do?" "Nothing! It can only be a misunderstanding!" "Does not matter!" Jack growled "this guy hurt our friends, and now they're going to have to pay!" "Fat-Jack is right!" Arthur agreed "let's finish them!" Iron Fist had many more members than the Boarders and Lord Ghost combined, and they all looked pretty strong. "Attack!" Gartham yelled. A flood of juvenile delinquents rushed at Jack and his friends. "What are we waiting for?" Arthur shouted "attack!" And then the fight began. Jack found himself being attacked by a boy, who jumped up preparing a punch. The chosen one of fire created flames in his hands, and shot at him, shouting: "FLAMING DODGEBALL!!" The attack hit the boy in the chest, who was thrown back, screaming. He turned, and then saw Gartham's right-hand man, Jaden, coming towards him.
