A Fallen Goddess - (Arthur)

1385 Words
The teleportation circles caused him a certain nausea, as if it was a very fast and fast journey for the mind to follow. There was Arthur, in a Greco-Roman style building where magic circles of teleportation glowed arcane on the ground, separated into several chambers that connected various points through magic in that fantastical world. "Finally, Lightland!" Seraph took a deep breath, "At last a minimally civilized place." "So this is the famous Lightland, capital of Argia, huh?" Arthur spoke excitedly, "very, very interesting." Things in Bugerville, which then renamed Eighthall Manor, were resolved. Glastro was once again the lord of those lands and was being helped by the knight Sir Avash, they became friends, just as their parents were. Arthur was proud of what he had done, but a certain shame hung over his glory that he had given up on the scroll. "There's no shame in it, Arthur", he thought to himself, "it was the scroll for the lives of your friends, you did the right thing. I an get stronger than ever so I don't ever have to let my friends go through it." "Arthur, look at that over there." Marcus said pointing to one of the teleport chambers with his finger, Arthur saw Fenrir emerge with some of the other guardians. The boy ran to where his friend was and hugged him tightly before he even noticed his presence, Arthur could feel the bones of Fenrir's thin body crackle. "Wow man, we got here at the same time, huh?" Arthur said excitedly. "Yeah, yeah, now can you stop squeezing me a little?" "Right!" Arthur released the boy. "So this is one of yours little friends, Fenrir?" A tall blonde girl smiled at Fenrir sweetly, it was the one from before, if he wasn't mistaken Arthur thought her name was Alexis. "Not one of his little friends, just the BEST of his friends" Arthur said confidently, then put his arm around Fenrir's neck, "I've known this kiddo here since I can't even remember when, eh, eh, eh!" "That's nice, little childhood friends" Alexis spoke as if talking to little boys, but Arthur didn't care. "Hey Alexis, you must be truly honored to be face to face with the strongest guy of the Six Warriors, Arthur Coast, nice to meet you!" "Oh am I?" She smirked, "By the way, 'strongest of the Six Warriors', my name is ALEXIA and not Alexis." "Hey, you idiots, when are you going to get out of the chamber, huh?!" Complained a guy who took care of the teleports there. Arthur and the others all looked at each other and laughed. ... "The Drunken Guardian" it was the name of the tavern they went to and already at the entrance to the place Arthur saw him... Fat-Jack! The boy ran over and gave his friend a friendly slap on the shoulder, but Jack complained in pain... hmpf, he was really weak, Arthur thought... or maybe Arthur was too strong. Arthur then gave Jack a strong hug as well, who complained of being too tight as he was lifted into the air. "Hey hey I'm excited to see you guys too, but you can put me down now!" The guardians who were with Fenrir and those who were with Arthur were entering the tavern and talking to each other as well. Sam and Miguel appeared there. "It's tiebreaker guys" Sam said smiling as he saw Arthur and Fenrir there, "it's time to decide what's the best story between us, who had the best adventure between us." "Mine, of course!" Jack replied with a smile, "Disgraced samurai, ninjas, sword fighting, honor and pretty girls, what more do you want in a story?" "Guys please," Miguel interjected, "I got arrested, I had my head on a prize and bounty hunters after me, do you really want to get over it?" "I'm excited to hear my rival's story" Jack said looking at Fenrir with a confident smile, "hey Fenrir, what did you do on your mission?" "I…played with a little girl and met a crow-man butler." Fenrir replied without giving much thought. Jack and the others laughed. "He was a really nice guy. He was unfortunately reduced to ashes by powerful magic augmented by an ancient magic stone." Jack, Miguel and Sam stopped laughing and widened their eyes wondering if Fenrir was still joking or not. "I also had to deal with death on my mission." Arthur said, folding his arms, "they were very brave warriors, especially Gradslaw and Brown Beard. I will always remember them and their bravery." "Let's go in then, then you tell your stories, you must be hungry, Drorn will give you something to eat and drink." Jack said. "Hey, don't go out inviting others to eat for free at my tavern you slacker!" A dwarf complained from inside the cave. "That's it, I'm really hungry" Arthur agreed, "Hey dwarf, just don't tell me to make myself at home, if you say that I'll make myself at home REALLY" said Arthur as he entered the tavern, "I will soon warning." "It's true man, you don't want this," Fenrir agreed as if he knew what Arthur was capable of. They were entering, while Sam approached Fenrir and spoke in a low voice to him something as if he saw a brunette girl with eyes of a very light brown, it was not to talk much to her, and that dwarf named Drot was complaining about something about financial loss. ... Arthur belched loudly as his friends chuckled at this, he had already eaten half a chicken, several stuffed potatoes, two hams, some buns, some jugs of juice and there was still room for so much more. The dwarf Drot had a worried expression on his face and he put a hand to his forehead in concern. "Hey boy, enough is enough, huh? I mean I still have some customers up there." "I warned you, Drot, don't tell me to make myself at home" Arthur chuckled and burped again. "But I didn't even say that! Quite the opposite! Besides, my name is Drorn, not Drot!" "Uh... excuse me, boss," said one of the waitresses there between the door and the stairs, "it just so happens that... a few more of them have arrived." "Oh no!" Drot gasped as more people appeared there. Arthur gave a big smile when he saw Glabro there, and a bigger one when Ethan appeared. "Oh no, it's Glabro!" complained Drot. "Drorn, my old friend! We are hungry, you know, right?" Glabro exclaimed. Ethan had a smirk on his face. He carried with him a sword that seemed to emanate magic. "So you brats started the party without me, didn't you?" He said when he saw them. ... After Drot... or Drorn, whoever, complained some more for more damage about him and the others eating too much, and the boys talking about the adventures and the dangers they've been through, they rested a little, and the moment of relaxation lasted until then. Drorn, Alexia and Jeremy said they should go to a certain place. The boys followed them to a secret room there, where the only thing that existed was a human-sized statue made of bronze. It showed a young woman with long hair, wearing armor and carrying a spear or glaive. "Behold the goddess Tsuki, young adventurers!" Drorn said pointing to the statue. "Oh, so this is the famous goddess Tsuki, Kazumi talked a lot about her!" Jack exclaimed looking at the statue. "Goddess of Heroism" Miguel said seriously, "I've read about her in a few volumes, but I believe many theorists claim she is a fallen goddess." "A fallen goddess, huh?" Fenrir said, "Like the one that kept our crystals? Don't you remember that statue?" "Now that you say it, you're right" Jack agreed, "wow, it's not been that long, but it feels like years have passed." "I remember that statue too" Miguel said, "they were similar, but this one was made of a blue stone and carried not a spear but a long sword." "The two statues represented the same goddess." Alexia said. "So this statue..." Fenrir moved closer, "represents Gwendy, right? That little girl Gwendy who claimed to be an ancient fallen goddess, she is Tsuki, the goddess of heroism."
