Fenrir opened the door to the room, gasping, when he felt something icy falling on him. The room burst into laughter. The teacher laughed too.
"It's amazing how every year there are students late" he said. "And they always fall for that! Congratulations, young boy, from late ones, you're the first!"
The icy water turned to a lead gray liquid that ran down the boy's body like thick paint.
"Ah, the gray, color of doubt!" the teacher said. Fenrir recognized him. It was the same one who had served as a guide at the entrance to the school. He was a thin man with a scruffy beard, tousled hair and a calm look. He had a hooked nose, skin not so fair, and he wore wizard clothes that were too baggy on his thin frame. The room was almost full, and even Victoria and Elza were already there. Apparently Seraph wasn't in the same class as hers. Fenrir's friends arrived soon after and laughed even though they didn't know what was going on. The nausea from their overeating also seemed to have passed. "Come on, late ones, come in!" the teacher invited. They entered. The room was spacious, with polished wooden steps, it was basically a medium auditorium on each step were long gilded desks, and with them the upholstered student seats. Such desks would easily fit ten students, however, only four sat at one. There were three rows in all, with four desks each. On the walls were different kinds of posters and paintings of magic circles. There were also school banners on them. In front was the teacher's desk, which was the size of the students' desks, with the difference that only he was on it. On top of the teacher's desk, there was a kind of fox cub with pink fur and black eyes, l*****g his own paw. Fenrir had the impression that the animal was looking at him maliciously.
"Well, let me explain what's going on. You guys are late, and I always play a trick on the late students on the first day. I set a magic trap so that the first student who passed out of hours would activate it. You were the lucky one, and what's covering you up is a special paint that changes according to your mood."
"Oh cool." Fenrir replied with an indifferent face. The color changed to blue.
"Oh blue! Right now you must be thinking I'm an i***t. Don't worry, don't worry. It's a special paint, I told you" the teacher moved his hands, and a small wind blew the boy, and this got rid of the ink. "Now go, take your seats." The boys did so, "Good morning students, this was a small demonstration of how amazing magic is! Practically, you can do whatever you want with it, but we advise you to be careful, because if used irrationally, it can be dangerous. " He moved his finger across the board, which was bluish and looked like liquid. When he finished, his name was written, "I'm Professor Takehiko Usugi, Master of Magical Studies. Today we won't have any subjects, I just want you to introduce yourselves, you know what it's like? First day of school cliché. Well, let's get started then with the first row of people. You say your names and what you expect from the school. Example, I'm Takehiko and I was hoping my boss wasn't such an old, ugly, grumpy woman." The entire room laughed. "Just kidding, guys!" He pointed to the first student from left to right "you, what's your name boy? And what do you expect from this school?"
"I'm Billy Coldwinter" The boy spoke. "And I hope to make many friends!"
"Good, very good. Applause to Billy everyone," the students applauded. "Let's keep it guys, let's go. Next!"
"I'm Skirp Fraw" said a small boy with a high-pitched voice "I'm a gnome and I just hope I don't get despised for that!"
"Why would it be, Skirp? Gnomes are very smart everyone knows that" the boy seemed to like that and smiled. "Come on, next." The introductions continued until it was Jack's turn.
"I'm Jack Zaek!" He yelled getting up "my goal is…"
"Stop being so noisy" Fenrir completed and the room laughed.
"Oh, thanks FRIEND."
"You're welcome."
"My goal is to become stronger and get cooler!"
"Hm" Takehiko looked at him for a while and then laughed "cool!"
After that the dynamic continued. Arthur had said that he wanted to show everyone how strong he was, Miguel that he wanted to learn, and Stanis spoke his name in a voice so high-pitched and in a low tone that the other students laughed. Fenrir said he hoped he wouldn't have to work too hard there at that school, to which Takehiko said he would be disappointed, because he would have to work hard, the other students laughed. Professor Takehiko's class time is up. The students would now have to go to the History room, in the class of the teacher named Ichiro Kuro.
