Seal My Fate(Ep:3)

It's around 10pm,Melody is already asleep. Kurt and Ursula are almost done cleaning up and removing decorations from the garden.

"Leave it,the helper will come finish up tomorrow." Kurt instructs Ursula. She nods and walks inside,walking to the kitchen. She pours herself a glass of red wine. Soon after,Kurt also walks into the kitchen placing the plates in the sink.

"You're taking it back." Ursula says as Kurt was about to walk out making him pause.

"Excuse me?"

"I said,you're taking it back."

"What?" Kurt asks slipping his hands in his pockets.

"That stupid car. You're taking it back."

"I'm not gonna do that."

"I'm not asking you Kurt. You're taking it back,first thing tomorrow morning." Ursula instructs Kurt putting her glass of wine at the top of the sink.

"You're crazy if you think I'm going to take back my daughter's gift after presenting it to her."

"Why would you even buy her that car?!"

"Because she wanted it!"

"We agreed on not buying it for her!"

"You and who?"

"KURT!"

"DO NOT!...Don't shout at me. I told you I was gonna get my daughter that car,and that's exactly what I did."

"Arg! You're so unreasonable,that thing is going to hurt her."

"Our yard is big enough. It's not even a real car."

"She's can't even drive that thing."

"Well her daddy is her,he'll teach her."

"I'll be damned if I let you keep that stupid car in my house!"

"And I'll be damned if I let you take it back."

"Arg! YOU DISGUST ME!

"I SAID DON'T SHOUT! (Points his finger at her in anger) You will not shout,my daughter is in this house."

"She's my daughter too!"

"Then start acting like her mother!...and stop shouting. I'll be sleeping in the guest room tonight." Kurt says walking away.

"Fine! Don't even bother coming back into our room. Arg!" Ursula screams taking her glass of wine and throwing it against the wall.

[Melody's Bedroom]

Kurt peaks in through the door to check if Melody is still asleep.

"Hey dad." Melody calls out to Kurt before he could close the door.

"Oh hey baby." He walks inside and sits beside her on the bed. "You're still awake?"

"Well actually I was sleeping and..."

"Oh,you must have heard your mother and I shouting." Melody nods. "I'm sorry dear,we didn't mean to wake you up. We were just arguing about the colour of your new car."

"Really daddy?"

"Yes my love. You mother thinks it should've been pink instead." Kurt laughs but Melody just looks at him. "You're okay my love?"

"No daddy.(She sits up) Are you going to leave mommy?" Melody asks looking really sad and worried.

"What?! No sweety,Why would I do that?"

"(Shrugs her shoulders) I don't know,maybe because she shouts at you. She upsets you right?"

Kurt becomes sad for a second looking down. He takes a deep breath and looks at Melody.

"Sweetheart,daddy will never leave mommy. Daddy and mommy have been together for ten years. Daddy loves mommy."

"Does mommy love you?"

"Of course she does...she does." Kurt says as though he's trying to convince himself.

"(Smiles) Can you sleep in my room tonight dad?"

"Yes of course. Come on,let's tuck you in." Kurt places a blanket over Melody as he lays next to her.

"Tell me a story dad."

"(Laughs) Honey I don't know how to tell a story."

"That's okay. Tell me how you and mommy met."

"Mmm(Sighs)Alright then.(Kurt brushes Melody hair as he begins to narrate) It was during your mother's school dance. I had been there as someone else's date but the moment I saw your mother,gosh I froze. She walked in looking like a real life Princess,like she walked out of a magazine. She was wearing a long gorgeous red elegant dress. It showed her beautiful leg and her back. Throughout the night I couldn't keep my eyes off her. I was in love. The school dance was almost over when I ditched my date and went to find your mother. I found her,I introduced myself. She was more prettier up close,so was her name,Ursula. I professed my undying love for her right there and then. We shared a kiss that night but after that I couldn't track her down. I lived in a different city. Finally after a month,I found her. I won her heart. Two years later,we had you. When she turned 21,I married her. Now here we are." Kurt sighs as he completes narrating his story. He realises Melody had fallen asleep,he hugs her then also falls asleep right next to her.
