Chapter Four Sydney stared at the scars that criss-crossed his body. “How did you get them?” When he looked confused, she added, “The scars.” Corrin pulled the t-shirt over his head. “Battle.” Sydney continued to stare at his arms. “I should have bought you a long sleeve shirt. You look like a cutter.” “A what?” She shook her head. “Never mind. Can you hurry up? It’s taking you ages to get your jewellery off.” Corrin eyed the zip on the backpack when the only jewellery he had left on was a gold torc around his neck and a single bronze armband.
