Marcel Bureš liked his job. As the press spokesman for one of the largest Czech banks, he had a pretty varied schedule: working breakfasts, working snacks, working lunches, working dinners, golf. He liked his schedule; Marcel Bureš, you see, liked very much to eat.
The fact that he had to regularly communicate with the media whenever it wanted to do so was the least fun part of it. He was always worried that they would misinterpret his words and paint the bank as a hyena, longing to drive its clients into bankruptcy. Drawing up the bank’s whole marketing strategy at paid workshops in ritzy restaurants was so much more satisfying. Or approving commercials for television. Or selecting sponsorship items with the bank’s logo on them.
