Episode 17: Portal

-Third Person POV-

After Lunch

Jace, Blake, and Claire went to the study room of the pack mansion. They are so full that they opted to have a quick meeting before Claire prepare for Withry.

As they approached the study, Anna rushed through them and handed a small book to Claire.

-Anna’s POV-

“Alpha, this might help” I gave Claire a small antique book from my ancestors.

“Thanks, Anna, what is this, and why are you giving this to me?” Claire asked as all of us went inside the study.

I motioned for them to sit as this will be a long conversation…

“Claire, the book I gave you is from my ancestors. Julia and I have been friends since I came here to the pack and I know what she is, as I am the same as her.” I looked at Claire and saw her amazed by what I just said. Well, I am not surprised at all with her reaction. There’s only 4 of them who knew about this, Julia and Claire’s dad as well as my husband.

“As I was saying, you are not the only witch in this pack. I am a witch. Julia, myself, your father, and my husband kept it from everyone. Not because we don’t want you to know but because we want you to be safe… All you know is I came from the Philippines and that I am pure human, well my dear, that is not one hundred percent accurate. I am really born and raised in the Philippines, but my bloodline came from the powerful sorcerers of South East Asia. Julia and I had a vision about you, and I gave my word to Julia that I will be helping you in any way I can to improve your power.”

“You see, the book I gave you is centuries old that was crafted by the great Merlin and my ancestors. They are good friends who crafted the book using their own blood and spells. The Wizard Book in Withry Valley is not complete, our ancestors knew that one day there will be chaos so they split it in half to make sure that if the book gets taken by someone who is not worthy, then they will not get all the information they need to perform any powerful rituals. The missing piece of the book is the one I just gave you.”

“So, all along you knew? Why are you just telling me this now Anna?” Claire asked

“You see, Julia and I needed you to discover this yourself, unfortunately, you discovered it in a way we didn’t anticipate. The Moon Goddess has her plans for you my dear, and we cannot interfere. We are here to act as your guardian and guide you as you uncover your power. When you are talking at the dining, I couldn’t help but eavesdrop, and I know you will be needing this for additional protection. When you get a hold of the Wizard’s Book there are few more pages you will see that is blank, it will only show the rest of the books secret when a pure-blood merlin or sorcerer from my bloodline put some blood on it. You will then need my ancestors’ book for the rituals to fully open a portal. According to my grandfather, that portal opens the door to the Moon Goddess Sanctuary in the Blue Mountains. It is said that the Moon Goddess witnessed how our ancestors stayed true to their friendship and even offered the Moon Goddess a helping hand when she was on her weakest point before becoming eternal. The Moon Goddess was once like us that was reincarnated to give the gift of power to the rightful. It is believed that she offered that to our ancestors, but way back then, they are very much contented and don’t want anything in return from the Moon Goddess. So, what she did is she took an oath together with our ancestors to give the right one the utmost power they can ever imagine. Whoever gets to go to that portal can meet the Moon Goddess to ask for it?”

“This is the right time Claire, and I have faith in you. You are the only one who can bring this upcoming chaos to end. One more thing, I will be accompanying you in Withry. I can open a portal going to the Romanov’s. Mikhail is already expecting us, and he will be fighting on our side. We will leave at midnight, that is when the Romanov’s are the most powerful to ensure our safety.”

-Claire’s POV-

I still can’t believe this! All along we have Anna as a powerful witch and her ancestors are friends with my ancestors. They even met the Moon Goddess way back and then there is a freaking portal that can let you meet the moon goddess. Oh, my Moon Goddess this is just beyond what I have ever imagined. Come to think of it, what Anna just said made me calm and at ease because I will not be alone going to Withry. Though I am not afraid, still it’s not my territory so I am expecting the worst that can happen. Having Anna come with me is going to help a lot.

“Thanks, Anna, I still can’t believe what you just said, and I am relieved, to be honest. But are you sure you want to give me this book? This is yours and I don’t want to take something that your ancestors gave you” I asked Anna as she was about to leave.

“You are the rightmost owner of that book and you have all the rights to get into that portal to meet the moon goddess. You are way powerful that you can ever imagine but we also need to be prepared. Though you are already a full hybrid of the Alpha and Merlin’s, you still need to train your skills in witchcraft. I am happy to be your guide and will make sure you develop your powers in time to face the opponents. I'll see you later, just need to prepare my husband's coffee” Anna left the room smiling as she went back to the Dining.

-Blake’s POV-

“Let’s call it a day and rest, for now, we need to prepare for your entry to Withry. Jace, can you make sure that the warriors from Lucid prepare to leave before midnight? They need to be there at the Blue Mountains once Claire and Anna go to Withry. I will see you shortly at the Main Building just need to discuss something with Claire” I motioned Jace to leave but my brother still won’t move a single muscle.

“Jace! Would you mind closing your mouth? A fly might go inside there!” I hissed as I can tell my brother was a bit shocked about Anna.

“There is a freaking portal to meet the Moon Goddess. Holy smokes! Claire when you see her, can you just ask on the side that I am waiting for my mate? I mean, you’re already there so might as well check with her too” Jace asked

“Really Jace? That’s all you have in mind while Claire and Anna are about to go to Withry! You are impossible you i***t. Remind me again how did I end up having you as my brother?” I couldn’t believe I am the brother of this impossible wolf.

“Hey! You’re so mean! You guys found each other, what about me? I’m asking Claire nicely, not you, besides she is just going to ask the moon goddess.”

“Leave and make sure the Lucid warriors know what needs to be done” I growled as I motioned him to leave the room.

When Jace left, I immediately locked the door. Went to Claire to hug her from behind when my d**k hardened as I felt her voluptuous a*s on mine.

“Now I need to enter your portal and make sure I plant some seeds before you leave tonight” I whispered to Claire while my hands make its way exploring my mate’s body.
