Episode 2: Letter to Luna

-Julia's POV-

"Sweetheart, are you still awake? Can I come in?"

I was staring at the food tray I left a while ago and Claire has not yet taken the time to even pick it up to her room.

"I have something for you, Kurt left this in the study...for you"

-Claire's POV-

Upon hearing that, I immediately stood up and unlock the door to open it so Mom can come in

"What is it, mom?" 

Julia slowly gave her the letter and told her that she will let her read it alone but she is just going to be there id she needs to talk.

Claire nodded and before she can even lock her door again, Julia went in to put the Food tray on her table inside her room.

-Julia's POV-

"Before you read that, please eat first. At least a bite or two honey"

Claire nodded once again and Julia kissed her forehead before she closed the door and released a deep sigh while walking in the hallway.

-Claire's POV-

I am trembling, I've been crying like forever and I don't have an appetite to even take a small bite of the food. She looked at the mirror and saw her reflection...

I definitely lost weight... I can see my large eye bags from lack of sleep and my eyes are swollen. Then I heard my stomach, I decided to take some bite even though I don't have an appetite and drink some water.

After drinking some water, I went to the side of my bed to start reading the letter that Kurt left for me. I was nervous, excited, sad, happy all at the same time so my hands are shaking when I started to read...

Speechless, shocked, hurt...

What did I just read? Kurt knew all along about Olivia and he didn't tell me? I can't blame him but I am his Luna and he should not be hiding anything from me...My Alpha, thanks for fighting for me till the end but we should have fought this together...

I'm hurt, I'm broken but I need to pick up myself again as I need to lead our pack as the new Alpha  

Tears fell down once again and I didn't even notice I already fell asleep...

I woke up when I heard knocks on my door...

"Alpha, we have visitors"

It was Jace, he is my Gamma...usually it was Blake who mind link us when we have unexpected visitors. I remembered how I told him to get lost yesterday. I was so angry at Olivia that I didn't get the chance to hear Blake out, didn't even got the chance to talk to him about what happened. I immediately felt sorry for Blake. He has always been the packs trusted beta warrior but because of what Olivia did to Kurt, my anger got into me and my anger targeted Blake after ripping her b***h girlfriend.

-Claire's POV-

I stood up and put my robes on before opening the door, and there I saw Jace. He is definitely one of the pack warriors we have aside from Blake and Kurt. He is also Kurt's friend who will stand by us whatever happens. Looking at Jace's, he is definitely an eye candy for a lot of she-wolves. He stands 6'3" with eyes as brown as chocolate, his nose is beyond perfection, and lips as red as cherry. Don't even look at his muscles, because even with a jacket on, you can see the muscles screaming out loud.

"Come in," I told Jace telling him to take a seat so we can talk about the "unexpected visitors"

"Who are they?" I asked Jace

Jace looked at me "It's Alpha Leon from the Lucid Pack, they want to discuss some arrangements that they've had with Alpha Kurt before he died" 

"Can't that wait?, Kurt just passed away and I just learned yesterday about Olivia, Blake is no longer here and I am still in a mess" Claire said irritably,

Jace looked at the window trying to weigh the situation and turned again back to me...

"I already thought you would say that, but as much as I want them to go back, the arrangement is quite important as it concerns the pack...and your life as well Claire"

I stared at Jace, his face became more serious. And by the looks of it, it will definitely be a long day for me...

"I see, have them in the conference room at the main building and tell the maids to prepare foods for our guests. I'll be there in 15 mins"

Jace nodded and went out of the room to accompany the guest.

"And my Alpha duties officially starts...no time to mourn" Claire whispered to herself

I immediately took a shower in our spacious bathroom where you will see a large bathtub surrounded by mirrors, facing the tub is the marble sink that Kurt and I selected when we redesigned our space together after I moved into the Blue Moon Pack. There are plants in the bathroom as well as flowers that the servants change every other day. I always love the sight of seeing plants and flowers inside the house as it makes it warmer and refreshing. I turned on the heater and took a quick bath to freshen up and waken my senses...then I saw Kurt's shampoo, I remember his smell...the smell of mint and masculinity. I can feel my tears running in my cheeks even though the water from the shower is also dripping on me. I sighed once again...when will I ever get over this?

After finishing my bath, I felt a little better. I went to my dresser and picked a pair of faded light blue tight jeans paired with a white plain v-neck shirt and a black leather jacket that has Kurt's initial in the side pocket. I have no time to put makeup on so I just put some powder on my face, light blush, and some lip balm. My hair is still wet and since I have no time to blow dry, I just simply let it down so it will eventually dry later. Took my ribbon and put it in my pocket so I can have it in a messy bun later. I looked at the mirror and was satisfied, I need to make sure they don't underestimate me as a female Alpha, I also want them to know that I am still mourning, hence the black leather jacket. Finally, before I step out of the room, I took Kurt's Rayban Aviator Sunglasses to hide my eyebags.

Impressed with myself as I was able to finish up in 10 mins., which is record-breaking by the way since it will take me usually an hour to doll up when Kurt and I going out for a date. Well, there's no one else that will look at me the same as my Alpha so I don't even need to bother to put an effort and look good to someone.

I walked past the hallway and saw our beautiful interiors. We didn't hire an interior designer, it was our idea (Kurt and I) on how we want our Family House to look like. The paint on the wall is white so aside from being spacious, it looks a lot bigger. The high ceiling is made out of glass so you can see the sun shining in the morning and the moonlight at night. We usually spend our time in the living room area as a family and when we have friends or important pack members visiting. The big SMART LED TV is the center of the living area, underneath is a fireplace to keep us warm during winter. Plants are also queued near the window where the breeze of the wind comes into the house and made our curtains dance in awe. Our first picture as a couple is hand-painted by of course my talented husband that is placed at the center wall.

What a sight... this should be a perfect place for a family to gather around and watch tv and just tell stories, but all that is left is me...unfortunately...

Jace saw me approaching the main door out of the house so he immediately escorted me on my way to the Main Building where the Blue Moon Pack Conference is located. 

"How many are they from the Lucid Pack?" I asked Jace to prepare while I look at my Gold watch with diamond studs that Kurt gave me before our wedding day to check the time, it's now 8:30 in the morning and I can see the beautiful garden just right across the Packs main building with a fountain surrounded by roses. What a sight, I have always loved flowers and garden so Kurt made sure I can do my gardening to lighten up my mood and kill some time when he is not here and out for meetings and conference.

-Jace's POV-

What a sight, I have always adored Claire because of her beauty and grace. Her height is 5'9" which is tall for a normal girl, her complexion is like of Snow White, but her beauty is beyond perfection. Heart-shaped face with mid-length chestnut brown hair swaying as we walk. Her eyes, though she has glasses, I can still see that green eyes with long lashes that often smile back at you when you look at her, her nose that's like sculpted by the famous Michael Angelo with few freckles that makes it look more appealing. And her lips, she has the most sensible red lips I've seen in my entire life. 

"There's 4 of them, 1 is Alpha Leon of Lucid Pack together with his Beta and 2 other Gamma's," I said as we enter the Main Building

The Pack is aware that they have visitors so they are alert to ensure the safety of their female Alpha. Some are already stationed outside the vicinity of the Blue Moon Pack to check the perimeter

Two of the servants went out of the conference room after arranging the food and drinks for the visitors. They saw Claire and Jace approaching so they immediately bowed their heads and gave their respect to their Alpha.

Claire nodded and gave a smile to thank them. 

Jace opened the door of the conference room and that made the visitors turned their attention to them, especially to Claire.

-Leon's POV-

Leon is from the Lucid Pack which is 1 of the most powerful allies that Blood Moon Pack has. This is, however, the first time that he is meeting with the Luna of the Blue Moon Pack which is now their Female Alpha. He can sense that the female Alpha is not ordinary, the confidence and aura she has when she entered the room felt like Alpha Kurt was there...dominant.

They bowed to Alpha Claire to pay respect and Leon hugged her to show sympathy for the loss of her beloved husband. 

Claire, though surprised with the hugging, she just wiped it out and greeted the visitors

-Claire's POV-

"Good morning Alpha, Thank you for dropping by. Though I didn't get any advise beforehand that you are going to visit, I appreciate that you made effort in doing so"

Leon in his mid 40's, was also called the Lucid and No Mercy Alpha of the South. He is well adored by his pack but the rouges and other Enemy Pack avoid him. He can rip a wolf or human apart in pieces in a split second without you blinking an eye. And with that, Claire is definitely relieved that Lucid Pack is on their side as an alliance. 

"It saddens me that Kurt can't meet you, as you know what happened,  so I am stepping up to lead our pack as their new Alpha." Claire continued

-Leon's POV-

"We heard, and we are sorry Claire" you can feel the sadness in Leon's voice at this point. 

"Kurt, is like my son, His father and I are best friends when we were pups" he smiled remembering the memories he has with Kurt's father. "We're like twin pups that you can't separate. I was really looking forward to seeing you before Kurt died...he called me to personally ask for a favor which I immediately said yes"

Claire and Jace's face is blank still listening to what Alpha Leon is saying

"He knew, that the pack's life is in danger if Olivia is here...Now, I know what you did to the witch and that's what made us check on you right away."

Leon paused and took a deep sigh before continuing...

"Claire, have you read the letter that Kurt wrote for you?" Leon asked

Claire nodded 

"That letter is not yet finished. Far from being done...When I receive a phone call from Kurt, he mentioned that Olivia is planning a war...She started to gather the rogues and the pack's enemy. And the goal is if they can bring your head to her, Olivia will make their pack stronger"

-Claire's POV-

Shocked...I am still at rage and now this...

I really thought that this nonsense ended after I ripped Olivia apart, but looks like this made it even worst. She made sure that there is a Plan B if in case something happened to her. Olivia's allies are far from not getting it done, it's more of having it timed so they can put us down. What a shame though, I am far from being scared...I'm shocked but not scared. I felt the need to meet the pack as soon as this meeting is over. 

My senses are wide awake and I can feel my wolf within me that she wants to rip everyone that is in favor of the person who took the life of our mate. I can only think of 1 thing at this point "Bring it on!" as my eyes turned reddish-black because I can feel the desire within me to finish this off once and for all. To give justice for my Alpha...
