Episode 7: Hybrid

-Claire's POV-

Claire turned on her laptop and started browsing the web about dreams and meanings. She did a thorough research about Witchcraft and spells, about Withry Valley…

What she learned was dreaming about a witch and practicing witchcraft could mean sabotaging acts in nature, which can also lead to disaster and bad luck. Dreaming as a witch can signify inner transformation or changes, typically feminine in nature and or shapeshifting. These also show wants and desires. Black witch typically relates to a bad omen or evil magic.

She leaned her back and closed her eyes, started to massage her temple because of a headache… While in that position she didn’t notice that she was able to fell asleep.

-Blake's POV-

After having a nice shower, he tapped the towel on his body to dry off. Wrapped the towel on his hips while he went to his closet to get a pair of jeans and a black shirt. He started to shave his face and after that put on his clothes and just hand combed his hair. After finishing up, Blake decided to check some files in the study.

As he opened the study room door, he knew that Claire was in there…he can smell her. His desire and body heat came back… He slowly went to Claire without making any noise so he will not wake her up, he just wants to be close to her for a moment and look at her while she’s sleeping. Blake touched Claire’s face caressing it with the tip of his fingers very gently and focused his eyes on her lips which is a little open. His fingers touched her lips and that contact made him want her more.

Claire moans a little, which made Blake come back to his senses and immediately removed his fingers.

“What the hell am I doing? S**t!” as he turned back and was about to go out when he saw Claire’s laptop open. He peeked into what she is doing only to be surprised that it has something to do with Witches and spells.

-Claire's POV-

Claire opened her eyes and saw Blake who was about to leave the Study Room.

“Blake, sorry I fell asleep. Is there anything you need?” I asked as I rubbed my eyes to remove some morning glory. I then looked at my laptop and remembered why I’m in the study room. And that leads me to why I needed to talk to Blake…because of Olivia.

“Good thing you’re here, I need to discuss with you something” I stretched my back as I yawn and then pulled my hair up to do a messy bun to remove my hair from my face as I read some of the things I was able to research last night…

“I’m all ears, what is it?” Blake said as he pulled a chair facing me with a blank expression as always…

“I had a dream last night, actually I had a nightmare… and that’s the reason why I’m here in the study because I did a little research about my dream. Well… it's not that I am into it you know, but somehow it felt real and I have a feeling it’s trying to tell me something…” I looked at Blake to see his expression but still, you can’t really sense what he is thinking about, so I continued…

“I dreamt about Kurt, the pack, my mom, Olivia…and what’s weird is that there is someone else in my dream that looks like Olivia but he is not…then he mentioned that he is Olivia’s twin brother who will bring back Olivia from the dead”

This time, I can see Blake’s eyes with a mixture of shock and barely contained anger. He looked left and right as if thinking of something…

-Blake's POV-

“You said, this was all in your dream?” confirming that he heard it right based on what Claire just mentioned.

Claire nodded and continued to elaborate on what she can remember from her dream…

“I recall that Olivia mentioned she has a twin, but she never mentioned if it was a brother or a sister…But then again, it’s interesting that you mentioned Julia was in your dreams too doing some spells”

As if she knew that she is being talked about, Julia came into the study room which made Claire and Blake stare at her as she approaches them.

-Julia's POV-

 “Looks like you two are having a meeting, I noticed the door is open, so I came in to close it and didn’t mean to eavesdrop” Her eyes looked at Blake, and then she stared at Claire and sighed…

“The dream you had is a warning Claire, both of you need to prepare yourself for the chaos that is about to happen anytime soon” I grabbed Claire’s hand and stared at the Opal ring in her right pinky finger.

“This ring is a symbol of our ancestry…My Grandfather, which is your Great Grandpa is the 10th Generation Leader of Withry Valley, he was considered as the Greatest Wizard to ever lead the Witches, Merlin’s, and Sorcerers. This also has a spell, so I asked you to never remove it. This ring prevents you from developing your powers as a Hybrid of the Wolves and Merlin’s bloodline. Your blood is fifty percent Wolf Alpha from the Blue Moon bloodline and fifty percent is from Merlin’s Bloodline of the Great Merlin. I know that is a lot for you to take honey, but you need to know as early as possible as I had a dream myself last night.”

Julia continued to elaborate the details of the Withry Ville…” For you to come and win a battle…you need to come prepared”

“I can see the future, that is the gift I received from the Moon Goddess…I saw this coming; I knew Kurt will die because of Olivia, and I knew that they will be after you Claire”

“When I saw Olivia the first time, I already know that she will cause you pain, but I cannot speak to you about the future as that will change what is about to happen if you already know it,” Julia said

“But why are you telling us this now mom?” Claire asked wondering as she looked at her mother

“You already know it, you dreamed about it, right? So, I am just here to guide you, honey. As your mother, I always dreamed of teaching you what I love doing the most when I was still in Withry Valley. During my childhood, it was peaceful. I don’t do Black magic, but your great-grandpa thought me just in case I needed to use it. Our power has always been envied by lower-class witches. Olivia’s great grandparents who used to be an ally of your great grandfather, they betrayed us after getting a hold of our century-old Wizardry Book of Spells. That is the most important possession of our ancestry which I assume is now in the hands of Olivia’s twin. The book has all the details for all Magics and spells ever to be known in Withry Ville, which includes the potion to raise a corpse from death. “

Julia hugged Claire, and before she left the study, she told Blake to tighten security.

“Oh, and honey…I need you to eat breakfast, you will need all the energy today. I will teach you all I know to help you and Blake win this battle” Julia smiled as she closed the door. But then she remembered what is going to happen eventually…her tears started to form at the tip of her eyes as she walks slowly back to her room.
