A peculiar love

prologue

Lilac's POV

i took a swig of the ice cold water as i stared at the muddy ground. I didn't know where i was, or how long i drove for. All i know is that i need to run, as far as i could. 

I had stopped in the middle of the woods to rest, i don't know how long but i think its been days since i have left. My father had locked me up for 10 years of my life. I had one opportunity to run when he forgot to lock the door after torturing me.

it was a 'now or never' situation.

i quickly took some money, clothes, water and the car. I didn't and still don't know where im going, i just gotta run. Who knows what he'll do when he finds me.

The woods had become darker and the moon hung on the starry sky.

 i pushed the car seat back and laid down as a few tears sprung to the corner of my eyes, i slowly closed them and tried to get some sleep.

Tomorrow, i run. Again.

I groaned as the bright sun hit me in the face, i slowly opened my eyes making them adjust to the shining light.

a twig snapping made me immediately shoot up and look out the window, my heart almost stopped when i saw my father standing by the window smiling wickedly at me.

My heart raced as he reached for the door, it wasn't locked but before i could lock it he had opened the door. Without thinking i turned on the car and hit the pedal, the car moved so fast i almost couldn't see anything. Using the mirror i could see him following me with a different car. My heart race quickened as i hit the pedal even harder, at this point the car was moving so fast i couldn't see anything. It was all blurry.

I tried to stop the car, i swear i tried but it wouldn't stop, the car door broke and i entered to what seemed to be a village, i think i lost my father but it didn't matter right now, i needed a way to stop the speeding car.

i lost it and screamed for help as loud as i could hoping the village people would hear me. 

My eyes widened and tears fell down my face as i saw the large tree that i was about to crash into, my vision started to blur and i felt the blood trickling down my face followed by the screams of kids and some women. 

 i crashed. The car was starting to light on fire and i was gonna die. I just knew it, i could feel the oxygen leave my lungs and getting replaced by the smell of gas, my heart beat was slowing down and everything was blurry.

The last thing i remember was the sudden smell of rain and pine tree's that engulfed the air. And then, it was black.

I was unconscious.
