Today, I decided to get up early and help my grandmother with the housework because, lately, I have hardly time to help her. I noticed that she wasn’t there when I got to the kitchen. Since it’s Saturday, she must have taken the day off to sleep a little more.
I started the job by washing some dirty dishes, cleaning the kitchen floor, preparing breakfast, and leaving it on the table. Then, I headed to the living room and cleaned everything. Just as I’m almost done, my grandparents show up.
"My dear, how long have you been awake? Have you cleaned it all up?"
"I woke up early today, Grandma, so I started doing the housework. The coffee is also ready."
