"Soraya... Soraya... can you hear me? Soraya... Soraya..." Soraya opened her eyes slowly, she could see nothing but darkness. She could feel her feet standing on the ground, but she didn't know where she was. "Soraya... Soraya..." "Wh-who is that? Who called me?" In the midst of the darkness, she tried to walk. Her legs were shaking, afraid to step on something strange and dangerous. "Soraya... Soraya... Soraya..." "Who is it? Why are you calling me?" She shouted. Her body was shaking and she wished there was a little light that could help illuminate her path. "It's me, Diana!" "Diana?" Soraya stopped walking. Standing in place with a strange fear. She heard someone's voice behind her and the voice sounded very close as if it was right behind her. "Sora, can you help me? You can help me, right?" Soraya gulped, she was happy because it seemed Diana had returned. But, why did they have to meet in a place like this? And where exactly is this? Soraya could feel Diana's hand on her shoulder and it made her look back. "Di-Diana? Y-you? Are you okay? Why are you soaking wet?" She asked when she saw Diana standing with her head down so that her hair covered her entire face. Her body was drenched and she was wearing the same clothes the last time they met. "Sora, it's cold... it's cold, I'm cold! Can you help me? I can't help it, it's so cold." "I see, let's get out of here! I'll take you home and you can change your clothes!" She said as she took Diana's cold and pale hand. Deg... Her heart skipped a beat when she felt Diana's hands, which were stiff and very pale, like they weren't human hands. In front of her, Diana was still standing with her head down. Unmoved even though Soraya tried to hold her hand and take her away from this darkness. "I can't! I can't get out of here! Go, before he comes! Go now!" "What do you mean? Who's coming?" "That person... he brought me to this dark place. If he sees you, he will force you to stay here. Get out before he comes!" "No! I won't go if you don't come! Diana, you too, must go with me! If that person is dangerous, you shouldn't be here! You must come with me! Everyone is looking for you!" "I can't! I'll never be able to leave this place. So, before it's too late, go now!" "But-" Tuk...tuk...tuk... There was the sound of cold footsteps. Stepping slowly from the darkness. Soraya was silent, the sound of the footsteps sounded very disturbing. She tried to listen carefully, waiting for the terrible figure that made Diana unable to leave this place. Tuk...tuk...tuk... The sound of the footsteps came closer and closer, causing fear to run through her body even more intensely. Suddenly, her body couldn't move as she believed the footsteps were getting closer and closer through the darkness. "W-we have to go! Diana, I beg you, let's go! I don't want to leave you alone. Please come with me!" Soraya was crying. Even though she wanted to run as fast as possible to save herself. She couldn't leave Diana alone. "I can't! Don't think about me, just go!" "No! I don't-" "Go...!" Diana screamed loudly like a monster, lifting her originally downcast face and revealing an extremely terrifying form. Blood gushed from her hollow eye sockets and her screams from her torn mouth reached her ears. Soraya who was surprised, even forgot the mysterious figure that had almost approached her. "No...!" *** "Huh...huh...huh..." Soraya gasped, she immediately lifted her head as her eyes opened wide. Cold sweat dripped down her shivering body. She found it difficult to breathe as if something was holding her chest. She tried to catch her breath as she realized that all the horrors she had seen were just dreams. Yes, just a dream, too terrible a dream. Around her, the room was dark enough to make it difficult for her fear to subside. But at least, she realized that she was in her room with Kerry sleeping in her bed. Drrrttt... drrrttt... Her phone vibrates. She was sure it wasn't a message from someone. Soraya reached for her phone which was lying on the table beside her bed and saw a notification from the mysterious website. A new article has been released at 2 am. Soraya had no intention of reading the article right now. She was too afraid to guess or to know more that she shouldn't. A friend who was very close to her was still missing and unaccounted for, she didn't want to burden her mind with that stupid article. However, when her eyes fell on the title of the article that appeared on the homepage of her phone, Soraya realized that she had to look at the article now. 'Where did Diana Brown go? University X Faculty of Arts student who was missing for three days has not been found' A title that made her mind immediately focus on the nightmare she had just had. Darkness, mysterious footsteps and Diana. Yes, it was Diana who asked her to leave immediately. Diana is in terrible form. "No, it was just a dream. Yes, just a dream. Diana must be fine. She must be somewhere safe. Oh my God, I beg of you to save Diana, I beg you!" She muttered. She felt very uneasy, her nightmares scared her even more. Like a sign she really didn't want to believe. Soraya caught her breath. She tried to stay calm. When the new article was opened, Diana's photo immediately appeared on the article page. "Diana?" Her tears flowed when she saw Diana's photo on the article page. In her photo in the campus' main gallery, she poses next to a painting of a toddler by Robert William Stanley. A photo she took that day. Soraya's attention was drawn to the painting beside Diana. That day they entered the closed gallery to see the phenomenal painting together. Soraya gulped, trying to mentally prepare herself to read sentence after sentence written in the article. 'The disappearance of a student at the Faculty of Arts at University X has taken the city by storm. Moreover, the student allegedly disappeared at the location around the dormitory where she lived. The public wonders, how can someone disappear in a place where so many people usually pass? This case began to put the University's reputation in jeopardy.
