Soraya intended to attack Colin again, she was really sick of this guy. The coward who actually seeks profit above the suffering of others.
"Soraya, stop it! You could get in trouble if you keep hitting him! Calm yourself!" David said, trying to calm Soraya who was so emotional.
Soraya couldn't think straight, all the chaos and problems she faced made her no longer able to distinguish right from wrong. Everything looked the same in her eyes now.
David forcibly pulled Soraya away from Colin who looked helpless even though he was only fighting a woman. Or maybe he deliberately didn't fight back to avoid something much worse.
Soraya's hands were clenched into fists, shaking violently. Her bloodshot eyes started to get wet, she couldn't bear the pain in her heart and all this was because of this disgusting bastard.
"You, confess right now...!" She shouted at Colin who was trying to get up and gave Soraya a horrible look.
"What do you mean? What do I have to admit? Are you really crazy? I don't even know you but you suddenly came up to me and hit me. Lucky you are a girl, otherwise I would have beaten you!" He said bluffing. He thought Soraya would be afraid to hear his bluff, but what happened was that Soraya wanted to hit this person a hundred more times.
"Damn it...! Don't pretend you don't know, you bastard...! You're the one who's been secretly taking other people's photos and spreading them in that article. Bastard, confess now...!" Soraya was getting more and more angry, she immediately took the opportunity to vent her anger once again by walking as fast as lightning to Colin and slapping him in the face.

Colin who had realized what Soraya was going to do to him, immediately caught her and held her hand. Colin gripped Soraya's hand so tightly it made Soraya wince in pain.

"Listen, I've met you before. That's when I saw you having s*x with Joshua Peterson in the art school warehouse. Tch, you damn w***e! Because you think I took your picture then, you keep on terrorizing me like this!"
The shocking statement Colin made left everyone watching their fight startled. They weren't really sure what he was saying, but it was enough to make them immediately think bad things about Soraya.
Meanwhile, Soraya was the one who was the most shocked by the incredible lie that came out of Colin's mouth. Her mouth was wide open, and so were her wet eyes. Soraya was so shocked, she was even at a loss for words to express how shocked she was.
"Hey, Colin! What are you talking about? Don't just talk nonsense like that!" David, the defender of Soraya, certainly wouldn't believe the nonsense that Colin spoke in front of dozens of pairs of eyes in this place.
"David, I know you. You're the guy she sticks with, right? You love her too, don't you? But David, just so you know, this girl you love isn't as innocent as you think. She's been flirting with her roommate's boyfriend. Kerry Smith, she's so poor girl. Who can stand it if her boyfriend sleeps with her own roommate? That's the reason why she committed suicide. Wasn't it clearly written in her last letter? Not only that, she also teased the favorite lecturer girl on campus, Mr Robert Stanley. I've seen her get in and out of Mr Stanley's car a few times. I'm sure they must have done-"
"Stop it...! Stop it! Stop it...!" Soraya screamed hysterically, covering her ears tightly.
Seeing her shockingly panicked reaction made Colin smile with satisfaction. He felt victorious because he managed to find Soraya's weakness.
All around them, people looked at Soraya with scornful eyes and whispered. Soraya could hear all their whispers, whispers filled with hateful words that made her mind very confused.
"As expected, she is the mastermind behind all the trouble that is happening here!"
"I think she's gone mad. Soon she might be in jail or put in a mental hospital!"
"Oh my God, I'm so sorry Diana and Kerry have to meet and deal with someone like her!"
"Is it true that David love her? Oh my God, David must be blind. What did he see in Soraya? It's obvious that she's being insane, why is she still defending her?"
"I think Kimberly should also be careful, Kimberly could be the next victim. She is very dangerous!"
"Stop....!"
All the hurtful words she kept hearing made her no longer able to hold it in. Soraya screamed hysterically, squatting down while covering her ears with her hands. They were right, Soraya looked like an insane person, but not because of her fault, but because of the hatred and slander that was constantly directed at her.
David, Kimberly and James who were usually always at the forefront of defending her, couldn't do anything this time. They were silent, not knowing what to do now. Seeing Soraya so depressed and always trying to keep things a secret from them, made their trust in her begin to erode.
As someone who had seen Soraya get out of Robert Stanley's car that day, Kimberly believed Colin's words a little. Meanwhile, David was already hurt listening to the lies that Colin told about the forbidden relationship between Soraya and their lecturer and also Soraya's affair with Joshua Peterson which was the reason why Kerry ended her life.
As for James, he felt he didn't really know Soraya from the start. Their meeting and friendship only lasted for less than four months. For him there was no strong reason to trust Soraya 100 percent.
They could not defend her, even though their little hearts felt very sorry for and believed in her. But then again, the doubts they felt right now were far greater.
Soraya sobbed, she realized that she couldn't stay in this place any longer. She had to leave before there was more hatred she would receive.
Soraya got up and left while still covering her ears. She walked quickly away from the crowd. There is no safe place for her here. The only hope left was in that man's arms.
Soraya ran aimlessly until her feet accidentally stepped on her loose shoelaces and made her fall on the ground. Soraya fell among the grass. Not far from her, several girls who had booed at her a few days ago were standing around the corridor talking about something. From the tone of their voices, there was a strange panic and fear.
"Have you heard from Hendrik? Oh my God, he's in a terrible state. Doctors don't believe he will survive in such a condition!"
"What really happened to him?"
"I don't know, but last night he was found dying in an empty building on Copenvil Street covered in blood. There were so many dog bite marks on his face and body. Even his nose and ears were missing."
"Oh my God, what happened to him? Who did it?"
"The police said he was attacked by a stray dog while he was in the building. Police found two used syringes, heroin and three bottles of beer. He was attacked in a state of intoxication."
"But, how could there be a dog in that place?"
"It was an empty building in a very quiet condition, far from settlements. There were a lot of stray dogs living in the building, so they attacked it."
"But, what was he doing there? Was he all alone? That couldn't be right? There must be someone else besides him in that place!"
"I don't know, the police are still investigating what really happened!"
Soraya was glued to her spot. She heard their conversation quite clearly. She was sure the young man they were talking about was Hendrick Kowalski, someone who almost got into a fight with David yesterday for constantly bothering Soraya with his words.
But after that, Robert came and asked him to meet him. Soraya did not know what Robert was talking about with Hendrick and why he had called him. Soraya was starting to have a bad feeling about this matter and she hoped that Robert had nothing to do with what happened to Hendrick.
"No, I'm sure he had nothing to do. We were together the whole time, so he must have been completely uninvolved. I trusted him!"
