Realizing that she had been staring at this man for too long, Soraya immediately turned her gaze forward, pretending to focus on the film that was playing.
Deg deg deg
Her heart was beating so fast, she tried to calm herself down. Take a deep breath and exhale slowly. Soraya felt lucky that in a place like this at least no one paid much attention to her.
Well, at least she's the only one who thinks that way. On her left, David who was initially focused on the movie and his popcorn, began to notice something strange about Soraya.
Soraya looked restless, like she was holding back something or was afraid of something. For five seconds he watched, Soraya seemed focused and it made David realize that Soraya did not really enjoy the film.
"Are you okay? Are you scared?" David whispered right in Soraya's ear.
His breaths were so close it made Soraya shudder, she had never been in a situation like this before. Soraya thought if she turned her head and looked at David, their eyes would be too close.
"I-I'm fine. I'm just a little scared of the movie." She answered with a hint of lies.
"Really? Well, if you're scared you can hold my hand!" Said David. Soraya was stunned, David's words made her even more nervous.
Soraya was silent for a few moments, she didn't immediately respond to David's kindness who offered her hand. However, if she had kept quiet, David might have thought that Soraya was very annoyed and uncomfortable with his behavior.
Soraya seemed to have no choice, slowly her left hand grabbed David's hand and touched it. She thought that was enough to show her gratitude to David.
Although the main problem still continues, due to the distinctive aroma that fills the sense of smell. Every now and then Soraya's eyes glanced at Robert Stanley who was sitting on her right. Silent, focused and looking like a soulless mannequin.
"Prince of the ice land." Soraya muttered under her breath.
"What? Did you say something?" David asked. He was sure Soraya had just said something.
"N-no, I didn't say anything! I just thought the film was really suspenseful."
"Yeah, you're right. I thought so too."
David returned to focus on the film, while Soraya, she was not sure that she really enjoyed the film as she hoped. The presence of Robert Stanley distracted her focus.
Soraya thought that sitting still and staring at this man for hours on end was far more enjoyable than even watching a movie she loved. Even though it had now been an hour when the movie was playing, she still couldn't make her heart beat normally.
"This is really messed up. I'm so nervous. Of all the places, why does he have to sit next to me?" Soraya thought. She felt uneasy, but it couldn't be denied that her little heart felt very happy.
Soraya closed her eyes, hoping this way she could distract herself from the man with so many mysteries. Although she hoped this would work, in fact, Robert's cold, expressionless face crossed her mind.
"Why in my mind his face is also involved? Oh, how is this? Oh my God I beg you, I want to forget him for a moment!"

"Soraya? Soraya? Wake up, Soraya! The film's over! Soraya!"
David shook Soraya's hand lightly, he didn't know that Soraya had fallen asleep while the movie was playing. He was too focused on the film.
Soraya squirmed, opening her eyes slowly. The previously dark room was now bright enough. Soraya saw David's face looking at her confused.
"David? What's wrong?" Soraya asked innocently after forcing David to wait patiently for her to wake up.
"You slept in the cinema!"
"Huh?" Soraya was shocked and spontaneously lifted her head which was leaning against the head of the chair.
Her eyes glanced around her, there was no one but them in this room. Problem also realized that Robert wasn't there, he was gone.
"I overslept! He must be gone!" She thought.
"Who are you looking for?" David asked suspiciously.
"N-no, I just-"
"If what you're looking for is Mr Stanley, he's gone!"
"What? How did you-"
"I already suspected why you were suddenly nervous like that. It was because he was sitting next to you!"
"You saw him too?"
"Yeah, I saw him when the film was over, he got up from his chair and walked out."
"I-is that so?"
"You seem very disappointed. Sorry I didn't wake you up sooner!"
"No, I'm not disappointed. Never mind, forget it! I'm hungry, how about dinner?"
"Sure!" David said as he rose from his seat and held out his hand to Soraya.
Soraya smiled and took David's hand. They stepped out of the movie theater and stopped at the burger restaurant which was directly across from the movie theater.
After ordering two servings of beef burgers, fries and cola, Soraya and David took their seats by the window.
"I'm impressed with him. " David chirped before taking a sip of cola.
"Who?"
"Our teacher, Robert Stanley!"
"Why are you impressed?"
"He's got a good sense of film, not much different from the character. Don't you think so?"
"I don't know! I don't really understand what you're saying!"
"Hahaha... forget it! But, considering that he can go to the movies so casually, that means he's completely cleared of the accusations leveled at him."
"Allegations? What do you mean about the woman's body found in the car?"
"Yeah, everyone thinks he must be involved or at least he must have something to do with the girl. Considering they've been rumored to be in a relationship and some even say that the girl is pregnant with his child."
"What?" Soraya was taken aback, really surprised by David's statement.
The woman who died was pregnant and the child she was carrying was Robert Stanley's child? This is really surprising. How could Soraya have believed it?
"Listen, it's all just rumours. Not necessarily true! But, considering the confessions of some of the girl's friends who said she was going to see Robert Stanley, it's certain that all suspicions were on him as the last person to see her while she was alive."
"But, that doesn't mean people can conclude that he's the culprit. Didn't the police say that the most likely cause of death was carbon monoxide poisoning as well as a side effect of alcohol and sedatives taken together. So that means Mr Robert really didn't guilty."
"I'm impressed that you defended him strongly, but I understand that if the police release him after a lengthy questioning, it means that the police have found no evidence to suggest that he had anything to do with Jane Bouttier's death."
