"Agh damn it! Why am I looking at him like that? It must be very obvious if I watch him. Oh, how is this? If we cross paths again, it will be very awkward." Soraya had been complaining inwardly since the moment her eyes met Robert's. For a moment, they looked at each other. Although she admits that her heart is beating fast, it is undeniable that there is a feeling of fear that rises in her heart and it is very difficult to explain. Soraya took a deep breath and let it out slowly, it felt like she wasn't quite used to this strange feeling. Not to mention her relationship with Kerry Smith which made her a little unsure that they could be good friends. Soraya walked through the corridors of the dormitory until she came down the exact same path as when she passed Kerry's boyfriend. It made her feel uncomfortable, including having to lie down and sleep in her bed. "Kerry? She brought her boyfriend again?" She said when her eyes saw, how Kerry who was making out with her boyfriend came into their room. It was like a dream, she remembered exactly how Kerry had promised not to bring her girlfriend back to their room. But today, only one day since she said that with such conviction, she brought him back. Soraya stopped walking, although she felt very angry, but she was too afraid to take action. She was afraid that if she complained or vented her frustration now, the relationship between her and Kerry would only get worse. "Damn it, what should I do? She actually brought her boyfriend again? It's hard to believe!" Her hands were clenched and shaking. Be patient, it seems that's all she can do for now. Sounding like a coward, Soraya realized how embarrassing it was for her not to be assertive. At the closed door, Soraya realized that she was entering now. Then she would just make herself like the unlucky person who caught a disgusting couple doing perverts in other people's bedrooms. "No, I can't. I can't go in right now. They'll definitely pretend like nothing happened. I'd better pretend I don't know anything and leave for a while." She thought. Soraya tries hard to convince her poor self to act sportively in order to find a safe way. She stepped away, away from the corridor of the dormitory which she originally thought would be the safest, most comfortable and memorable place. But in reality, the hostel is just a comfortable stopover for couples who are intoxicated with romance. A strange feeling carried her steps further and further away. She has not had time to explore the environment around the university, including the dormitory environment. "Maybe I can walk around for a bit." So she thought. Soraya followed her instincts which told her that she would find something extraordinary in this place. The autumn breeze blows the dry leaves. The sound of birds chirping and the wind blowing, Soraya really enjoyed it. Reminds her of her home, family and hometown. Soraya realized her steps took her to the middle of a forest surrounded by orange trees. She looked up at the sky, white clouds moving slowly, followed by black clouds far behind her. "Looks like it's going to rain tonight." Soraya mumbled. She knew exactly what the situation was after observing the sky. However, even though she knew it would rain. Soraya was reluctant to return to her room now. She knew that Kerry and her boyfriend were taking longer to finish their hot session. Her eyes glanced at the clock on her hand which showed 4:30 in the afternoon. Soraya sighed, she thought maybe she could wait for 10 minutes before finally returning to her room. After being convinced, Soraya continued her steps through the small forest behind the University dormitory which she didn't expect to be this beautiful. A small smile formed on her lips. "Not bad either," She thought. However, 10 meters in front of her, Soraya saw a man standing with his back to her in front of a lake and seemed to be doing something. Realizing that she accidentally saw someone, Soraya spontaneously hid behind a tree while peeking at the man. "Who is he? What is he doing here?" She thought. She tried to observe what the man was doing. Dark brown cardigan and black jeans. Black hair with broad shoulders. The body and the type of clothing felt familiar to her. Soraya was sure that she saw a man with such an appearance today. "I seem to recognize that appearance, but who?" In a flash, the moments where she had to feel awkward all day came back into her head. Suddenly, Soraya almost screamed. But she quickly covered her mouth before the man realized that behind him was a girl watching him. "Geez, I almost let out a scream. It could be terrible if he caught me peeking." She thought. Bad thoughts and feelings welled up inside her. She felt like she was in a thriller full of suspense. After her mood began to calm down, she resumed her action to peek at the figure who had made hee heart beat fast today. "What is he doing here?" Soraya's eyes fell on a hand gesture that she knew exactly as a painter's. The man stopped moving his hands, he froze for a moment as if noticing someone's presence nearby. Soraya, who knew that the man seemed to be able to sense her presence, felt the same restlessness again. Without a word, the man lowered his hand that was holding a brush. His head turned slightly, as if to signal that he already knew someone was watching him. Soraya who knew that she had been found out, died of fleas in her place, not moving at all. She didn't expect that she would be this scared just because she accidentally saw "Someone" who was her lecturer painting alone in the forest behind the dormitory. "Come out! There's no point in hiding!" He exclaimed. His voice was deep and cold. Make anyone who hears it will feel fascinated and scared at the same time. Soraya swallowed hard, holding back her trembling hands. She tried to move her body and get out of hiding. With her head down, Soraya stepped past the big tree where she had been hiding for 3 minutes. "You? What are you doing here?" He asked scornfully. The timid Soraya grew more and more frightened by such a question. "I-I was out for a walk and saw you here, Sir! I'm sorry, I didn't mean- " Soraya stuttered. She didn't expect that this man was so sensitive that he could find her so easily. Soraya lowered her face, she was so embarrassed that she couldn't move her legs. In front of her, Robert still looked at her with a flat look that was very difficult to understand. "What makes you so daring to sneak around and watch me like that?" "I-I'm not sneaking around and I'm not watching you at all, Sir!" She said defending herself. Soraya doesn't want to be seen as bad, especially if her lecturer accuses her of being a stalker. "Is that true?" His shining blue eyes seemed to sparkle. Soraya who accidentally saw it immediately lowered her face again in shame. Deg Soraya again heard the print of her heart which was quite loud. She felt an unusual atmosphere. The autumn breeze that blows and the dry leaves flutter around it. The atmosphere she felt made her think she was dreaming. "O-okay, Sir!" Finding it impossible to refuse his call, Soraya hurried over to Robert who didn't budge in his place with his broad still gripped in his hand. Realizing how her height only reached Robert's shoulders made Soraya feel inferior. She didn't know how tall this man was, he clearly looked very striking with his black hair and shining blue eyes. "He turned out to be very tall. It looks like more than 190 meters." She thought. Even in awkward moments like this, Soraya still had time to think about other things. "Stand there!" Robert said. He pointed at the front of the lake with his brush. "S-standing there? What should I do?" "You don't have to do anything! Just stand up!" "A-alright!" The confused Soraya could only follow Robert's orders while scratching her head. She was standing 2 meters in front of Robert, right in front of a lake that was almost filled with orange leaves. Even though she didn't understand what her teacher wanted from her, Soraya who was very difficult to say 'no' could only surrender and follow everything she was told to do. Robert looked at her coldly and honestly, the look in his eyes always made Soraya feel both scared and stunned. Soraya's cheeks were red, getting redder. She became awkward. "Why does he keep looking at me? How is it?" She thought. She didn't know whether she should be afraid or happy because she was being watched by the most popular handsome lecturer on University. Robert who was initially silent and watched it for 3 minutes, now started to move his brush as if writing something on the canvas in front of him. "Co-could it be that he painted me? How can I be a model for a great painter like him? What dream did I have last night?" Soraya thought. Her chest heaved, she couldn't help the smile that broke out on her face. "Stop smiling like that! You disgust me, stalker!" Said Robert coldly. As Robert wanted, Soraya immediately stopped smiling. She had thought that she just heard wrong, what Robert just said made her a little shocked. "I-I'm sorry-" Soraya fell silent, frozen in place. From initially feeling happy because she thought that she would be used as a model for a painting, Soraya immediately fell down with just one sentence. The atmosphere became very quiet, the only sound that could be heard was the sound of the wind blowing and the chirping of birds. This silence somehow made Soraya feel even more scared. Robert drew his brush and glanced at Soraya who was frozen stiff. This strange man realized that he had just made his students feel very afraid of him. "It seems you are very easily silenced with just words, huh?" "Huh? Wha-what? I-I just-" She stammered. Her eyes started to get wet and she felt confused. Robert took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, he straightened his painting tools as if he wanted to end his activities. "I'm done with my business! I'll be leaving soon. You too, better back to your house because it's going to be dark and raining soon!" "O-okay, I'll-" "Listen! Forget what I said earlier. I didn't mean it seriously, except for the stalking part!" His words were flat, emotionless. Soraya was silent, her mouth open. She didn't understand what the lecturer was really saying, but one thing she did understand was that this strange, stiff and cold man meant to be joking and just to scare her. "Is he joking?" She thought. Soraya gulped. "Di-did you paint me, Sir?" Soraya asked. She was quite curious about this one. Remembering that Robert acted as if she wanted to be the object of a painting. "Yes, do you mind?" ***
