"N-no, I'm just a little curious. Because I thought you wanted to paint me earlier."
"I'll finish it! When it's done, you can take a look at it if you want!"
"Huh? Really? Are you serious, Sir?" Soraya asked. Just like before, even this time she didn't know if this man was being serious or just joking.
Hearing Soraya's disbelieving question made Robert do nothing but stare at her.
"Go away!" Said Robert before he finally walked away with all the painting equipment in his hands.
Robert took his canvas leaving Soraya who just stood there with so many questions in her head.
"Is he serious? He actually painted me? But he is Robert William Stanley, a talented young painter whose work has entered the world's leading art galleries. Really?"
A wide smile tugged at her lips, she couldn't contain her excitement. Although for a moment the strange and cold lecturer had frightened her with the way he looked at her, it couldn't be denied that at this time Soraya was truly happy.
Soraya had completely forgotten her annoyance at Kerry who once again brought her boyfriend into the bedroom they shared. Really, it was so outrageous and made her angry. But a timid girl doesn't seem to have the courage to speak her mind.
Having made up her mind, Soraya returned to her room. Her eyes glanced at the clock on her hand which was already 5.45 pm. It had been over an hour since she had left them and Soraya was convinced that they should have ended their intimate session and stopped thinking that they could continue it as long as they wanted.
In front of her, the bedroom door that was ready to be knocked was waiting for her. Suddenly Soraya felt a strange vibration in her body, she didn't want to hear those sickening noises from behind the door again.
"Okay, I have to go in now! Don't expect them to continue!" She muttered with a hand ready to knock.
However, just before Soraya knocked on the door it opened, revealing Kerry's grinning face.
"You're back, huh?" Kerry greeted her happily as if nothing had happened.
Soraya glared, but only for a moment, she immediately stopped her. Not without reason, the red scar on Kerry's neck caught her attention.
It's a strange scar and it looks like it's not there this morning. Soraya gulped, although the wound on Kerry looked quite glaring, it was impossible to question let alone discuss it.
Soraya averted her eyes and decided to step into the room and ignore what happened to Kerry. Her attention was drawn to her bed, which looked immaculate, just like the last time she had left her room this morning.
"Is there any problem?" Kerry asked. She immediately approached Soraya with a strange smile, making Soraya feel uncomfortable.
"No, it's okay! I want to take a shower first!"
"Wait! I have something to give you!" Spontaneously, Kerry pulled her hand away. Soraya who was barely moving was slightly surprised by Kerry's unexpected action.
"Give something?"
"Wait a moment!" Kerry let go of her grip and went to her study table.
On the table was a gift from a cake shop that was famous for being expensive and very delicious. Soraya frowned, she just realized that from the moment she entered the room, she could smell a very fragrant and delicious chocolate cake.
Kerry took the parcel and gave it to Soraya who looked at her questioningly.
"Here, accept my gift! Think of it as a gift because we started to be friends." She said.
"Friendship gift? What does that mean?"
"Sorry, you must have been surprised. But honestly I feel bad for you for what happened yesterday. Really, I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable. That's why I really apologize and regret my stupid actions yesterday."
Soraya was stunned, she did not understand Kerry's statement about her stupid actions yesterday. It seemed very strange if she only apologized for her actions yesterday, while today she is still making the same mistakes.
Soraya really didn't understand whether this time she had to go back to understanding Kerry's actions or was angry because she had lied and pretended not to know.
"I see, but you don't have to give me a gift like this!"
"No, I beg you to accept it! I really hope that we can become good friends. That's why-"
"Okay, I understand you want to start a good relationship. But I don't want to accept gifts for being friends. We can be friends naturally as usual, therefore you don't need to give me any gifts!"
"No Soraya! Please don't talk like that. I want us to be friends, so accept it! I've been waiting in line to buy it today. If you don't accept it, I will be very disappointed." Soraya had not expected that Kerry would force her like this.
In addition, the tone of her voice that seemed spoiled and strange made Soraya a little uncomfortable. From that bad first impression that day, it was hard for her to be natural with Kerry.
"Yes, fine. Then, Thank you!" Since it was impossible to refuse Kerry's insistence, Soraya was forced to accept her gift.
Kerry smiled widely, although she looked happy, but her smile actually looked very scary.
"Thank goodness! Then, let's be friends!"

"Hey, Sora!
"Soraya?
"Hey, Miss Soraya Charlotte Chamberlain!
David kept calling out to Soraya who was walking dreamily in front of him. Don't know how many times David tried to call her, but Soraya looked like she was walking while sleeping.
Impatient, David immediately walked ahead of her and stood in front of her to block her steps.
Realizing David was in front of her, Soraya gasped and immediately stopped walking. Her brow furrowed as she looked at David who suddenly stood up and faced her.
"David, what are you doing? Why are you standing in front of me?"
"What did I do? Geez, you've really gone crazy, haven't you? How many times do you think I've called you? Are you sleepwalking?"
"Calling me? You calling me? When?" Soraya asked. She really didn't notice and it made David feel a little annoyed and disappointed that he had been ignored.
"Is that so? Am I so unimportant that it's easy to ignore? Well, then I'll excuse myself! Have a nice day!"
"Geez, David. Come on! I really didn't hear you calling me! Or rather, I didn't notice. I'm sorry!" Soraya asked. She smiled sweetly, it was clear that she was sincere and didn't mean to ignore David.
Seeing the sweet smile on her face made David immediately forget his disappointment. He realized his feelings clearly, he knew it. That's why he didn't want to play the role of an ordinary friend or the like for too long.
"You like watching movies?" Asked David, he immediately changed the topic.
"Why do you ask that?"
"Can't I find out?"
"Hahaha no, I'm just kidding. Okay, I said yes! Are you satisfied?"
"Hum, what genre do you like? Romance? Drama? Or comedy?"
"Thrillers! I love films that are suspenseful and full of puzzles."
"Really? Are you serious?"
"Do I look unconvincing?"
"Hahaha... to be honest, yes! It was quite surprising. However, it was actually very interesting. Are you busy this Saturday? There's a good movie in theaters. Professional Assassin, I want to watch it with you."
"Professional Assasin? The movie's already out in theaters? Wow, I was looking forward to it. Of course I would!" Soraya who looks enthusiastic makes David happy. He didn't think that they were of the same frequency.
"Okay, then this Saturday I'll be waiting at the coffee shop in front of the campus at 5 pm. What do you think?"
"Yes, I can! I don't mind!"
"David!" A young man called David in front of the class while waving his hand. David who immediately turned his head, seemed aware that he had to end this conversation.
"I'll be there. See you later-"
"Are you guys disbanding? I was just about to join?" Kimberly said who was already near them and they barely noticed it.
"Kimberly? I really didn't know you were here!" Soraya said. The innocent look in her eyes made David hold back a laugh.
"Looks like you guys are planning something, don't you want to ask me to join your plans?"
"A plan? David just asked me to-"
"I just asked Soraya to be my partner for next week's group assignment. That's it!" He said. Hearing David's answer, Soraya looked at him confused, she didn't know that David meant to hide their plans to watch them.
Since David had already given an answer, the confused Soraya fell silent with her head down. He had almost told Kimberly what David wanted to keep a secret.
"Group work, huh? That's right! But, I thought you two were planning to spend the weekend together. Or maybe I heard wrong, huh?"
"Yeah, it seems you heard wrong! Alright, I'll excuse myself. See you later?" David said as he walked away leaving two young girl who was in awkwardness. Especially Soraya who was still looking down in shame at the lies David had told.
"Soraya, what are you doing? Let's go to class!"
"Ah, ye-yes alright!"
