They were silent, in fact they really didn't understand the real situation they were in. They had thought not to interfere with the problems that Kimberly was facing, because it seemed that she didn't want to involve anyone either.
"You said she was jealous of me. But, I don't know, what she's jealous of?"
"I don't know either, it's just my guess. Because in the first days we were students, we often heard you talking to your mother on the phone. At that time, I had a strange reaction she showed and her words-" Diana stopped her words when she tried to recall what Kimberly had said at the time.
"Tch, you spoiled brat!" Diana still remembers it very clearly. At that time, she was a little surprised, but she assumed that Kimberly didn't mean to say that.
Diana glanced at Soraya who was sitting beside her, waiting for her answer. It made her worried and reluctant to tell the situation at that time.
"What's wrong? You know something?" Soraya asked, clarifying her question.
"No, I don't know. That's just my guess. But maybe she has other reasons. I don't think we need to think too much about it. Besides, I've decided not to interfere in the matter. Maybe it's better, we don't need to get too close to her."
"Are you starting to think that's a little weird?"
"Not really, it's just that I can't relate to someone who can only see the bad side of others and doesn't want to reflect on herself."
"Is that so? Do we have to do this? Is there no way out? Something we can do?" Soraya felt disappointed if they really had to give up now.
"I still haven't thought about it. I think we should calm down and think of a way out. Look, don't push yourself too hard, okay?" Diana said while gently patting Soraya's shoulder.
"Yes, I understand."
"Okay, I think we can go back to our respective rooms now." She said as she got up from her place.
"Yeah, I want-"
"Soraya!"
"Yes?"
"Did you have a problem with your roommate? I heard she came home from the hospital yesterday!"
Hearing Diana's question made Soraya feel uneasy. She felt sick every time she thought about her problems with Kerry and her boyfriend. Every time she thought of going back to that room, Soraya wanted to cry.
"Sora, are you okay? Did something happen?" Diana asked. Breaking her short daydream.
"N-no, I'm fine! No problem, everything's fine!"
"Is that true?" Diana asked. She looked doubtful. She seemed to be starting to guess that there was something Soraya was hiding.
Soraya nodded with a smile. Trying to reassure Diana that there is nothing to worry about. She feels fine and can handle everything.
"Okay, I understand. Then-"
"Diana, about that matter-"
"What is the problem?"
"It-it's about-" Soraya stuttered. She intended to explain to her what really happened this morning. About Robert Stanley who drove her to the front of the dormitory building.
"Why?" Diana waited for an answer from her. But she really didn't know how to start.
"No, it's nothing! All right, then I'm going to my room. See you later!" Soraya rushed to leave Diana. She didn't want Diana to force her to talk.
Gruuuduuukkkk...
She heard a roar from above the darkening sky. She knew that it was already very late, but the sky looked much darker than it should have been.
The thunder doesn't seem to come alone, it brings strong winds and drops of water from the sky. This situation made the distance between her and the dormitory building feel further than usual.
"I have to hurry before it rains!" She thought.
A newspaper flew in the wind and landed right on top of her head. "Ugh..." Soraya picked up the newspaper stuck in her head.
She had absolutely no intention of seeing or reading the contents of the newspaper now. However, when the newspaper was right in front of her eyes. Intentionally or not, she must have seen it.
A news that was published on the front page, news about the mysterious death case of Janner Bouttier, a student of University X.
'Jannet Bouttier was found dead in a state of 4 months pregnant, her death is suspected to have been murdered' the headline immediately caught her attention. Soraya was forced to stop in her tracks and stand 50 meters from the dormitory building.
"Killed?"
Her heart was beating fast, this photo in the newspaper shows Jannet's car parked on the side of the road. Soraya was sure that this morning she passed the road when Robert was dropping off and that the distance between Robert's house and the location of the place was very close.
"No, that's impossible. He must have nothing to do with it. I'm sure of it!"

Soraya shivered with cold, her body was half wet from too busy reading the newspaper in the rain and strong wind. She wanted to go straight to her room, change her clothes and drink a cup of hot tea.
"Huh... cold..." Soraya stopped right in front of her bedroom door when she heard a sigh from behind the door.
She was silent. She was too shocked to understand what else had happened. She was pretty sure Kerry Smith was in there with her crazy boyfriend. They did it again in the room.
Soraya felt her whole body very weak. She was very cold, hungry and very tired. But again, she has to face two losers who robbed her of her rights.
Soraya pressed her forehead against the door. Crying silently, trying to hold back the tightness that made it hard to breathe.
Drrrttt... drrrttt...
Her phone vibrated, she immediately opened it to see the incoming message Diana sent a few seconds ago.
'Are you in your room yet? You didn't get rained on, did you?'
Soraya smiled inside her tears. She didn't understand, why Diana cared so much for her? She had to admit that she felt happy, at least it could make her sadness a little less.
Soraya decided to crouch in front of the door, waiting for the couple after so she could come in and sleep in her bed.
Soraya typed a message back for Diana, saying that she was in her room and that she was fine.
'I'm in my room, I'm fine. How about you? I hope you don't get rained on.'
After typing the message, Soraya immediately sent it. She thought about calling Diana while passing the time.
"Not sent? Did her phone battery run out?"
Soraya tried to contact Diana. She wanted to speak to comfort herself who was confused because she was sitting alone in the middle of a deserted corridor.
'The number you are calling is currently unreachable. Please try again in a few minutes.'
"Not active? Even though a few minutes ago she just sent a message to me. Did her phone battery run out? I wanted talk to her!"
