Anger

Soraya was stunned, looked at Robert who was sitting beside her, driving the car without saying a word. Since last night's argument, he seemed angry and silent. His demeanor was much colder than usual and that made Soraya feel uneasy. She didn't know that Robert would be so angry just because she wanted to hide her confusion. She didn't know if it would make this man feel offended. Soraya tried to apologize, getting out the words she should have said. However, everything caught in her throat. Not a single word came out of her mouth other than a sense of tightness and guilt. Minutes had passed in this car. A long journey that must be taken for 40 minutes feels much longer. Time seems to stop spinning and just revolves around the same axis. Soraya glanced sideways at Robert who looked like a driving robot. His eyes were cold and his face was flat. She knew this man loved her, but she didn't know if she was completely safe with her feelings. "Sorry!" She said slowly. She couldn't take it anymore and tried to say what she should say. Soraya looked down sadly while occasionally glancing at Robert who had not yet responded to her apology. Soraya grew increasingly restless and hoped this man would say something that would at least make her feel a little better. "There's nothing to be sorry about!" Said Robert. Cold, like frozen snow in winter. "I really didn't mean to hide anything from you, really! I want you to believe me!" "I believe in you! But, I don't believe in all of them!" "They? Who do you mean?" "The people who hurt you and made you cry. I can't believe them!" Soraya fell silent, frozen in place. Her eyes started to water and she felt very touched. This man said something that made her feel loved more than anything. This man made her feel so precious. "But I'm fine, I don't want you to worry too much about me. I've been so dependent on you, if this continues, I'm afraid I can't live without you!" She said. Her voice trembled, tears streaming down her face. She was happy and scared at the same time. In the past, whe had felt the same dependence on the figure of Matthew, the person who always supported her and was by her side whenever she needed it. However, the moment that figure suddenly disappeared from her life. It made her lose her way, the pain of loving someone who wasn't always by her side. Losing a loved one is the most painful ordeal. She didn't want to feel the pain anymore. Seeing Soraya start to cry, Robert pulled over and stopped the car on the side of a deserted road. He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. He turned to Soraya who was sitting beside him. Robert took Soraya's hand and held it tightly. "I understand your fear. You know? I've been through so much in my life and maybe you wouldn't believe it. But believe me, I've been through really tough things and what's happening to me right now is nothing. I just want you to think about yourself. You only need to think about the things that make you happy as if in your life there is only happiness. The rest let me think about it, you don't have to worry!" Robert looked at her with sad, yet very gentle eyes. Soraya could never understand it, she didn't know why this man always gave her a strange dilemma. "Can I trust you?" She said. She really wanted to believe it. Robert gently touched Soraya's face and gave her the most sincere smile she had ever had in her life. "You just need to believe in yourself. That way you'll know how much you trust me. If you can't trust yourself, you can never trust me!" Trust? Soraya didn't know how much she trusted herself. Or indeed all this time she had never believed in herself because it was very difficult for her to put her trust in someone. Soraya hugged the man in front of her very tightly. She really liked the smell, a scent that made her feel very calm and comfortable. "I love you, I love you so much!" Her whisper is soft. "I know!" *** Soraya felt her legs tremble as her steps almost brought her into the campus environment which was starting to make her feel uncomfortable. She never knew how long it had been since she had begun to dislike being here. In fact, a few months ago this place was her favorite place. But now, this place was like a den of fear and trauma that she felt. "No! I can't be afraid, I can't back down. I'm innocent! I want to be considered a bad person here! I won't be silent anymore, I won't let them bother me anymore-" Duuukkk... Suddenly, someone behind her accidentally bumped into her back. Soraya was surprised and immediately looked back. Her eyes widened when she saw the figure who was one of the masterminds of the suffering he was experiencing. The person who had the heart to let Soraya face this problem alone, the person who had no feelings took her photo secretly and spread it on the internet. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't-" Said the young man. He immediately stopped talking when he knew who was going to deal with him. His face looked panicked when he saw what Soraya's face looked like when she looked into his eyes. As if knowing that he was in trouble, he tried to run away. "Shit...!" Quickly, Soraya tugged at his shirt and threw a very hard fist right at his face. This was his second fist and this time it was much stronger than before. The young man named Colin Morgan fell to the ground, fresh blood gushing from his nose. Soraya felt so angry, she really wanted to kill this person right now. "You bastard! What have you do? Take photos of someone secretly, no feelings! You bastard...!" Soraya pinned him down and hit him several times. The fight caught the attention of the people around them and immediately tried to separate the two of them. Soraya looks very angry, very difficult to control. "Hey Soraya, stop it! Why did you hit him?" Said a young man who was trying to separate Soraya and Colin. "Let go of me! Let me kill this bastard...!" "Hey stop that! You could get in trouble if you hit him!" "I don't care! Let me go...!" "Sora? What are you doing?" Shouted David as he emerged from the crowd watching the fight. Kimberly and James were behind David, staring at her in confusion and shock. Soraya didn't budge, she didn't care about anything or anyone at this time. Because this jerk, the man she loved had so much trouble. Everyone started accusing him of being a crazy psychopath and ex-killer who had roamed free and because this jerk too, she had no strength to defend herself before the police. Her eyes were bloodshot, anger evident in her eyes. She loves Robert very much, she doesn't want the man she loves to be hurt again, but she can't do anything to help him from the pain he is holding alone. "Bastard! You're such an asshole! A person like you, why don't you just die?" ***
