Soraya opened her eyes slowly, she felt a strange uneasiness. All night she tried to sleep, but there were only strange hallucinations that were very disturbing.
"I can't sleep! My head hurts-" She mumbled. Her head felt heavy to lift and her eyes glazed over.
She knew the restlessness she had felt all night stemmed from her fear of something she shouldn't believe in. But, because the stupid rumors were constantly being spread, she was indoctrinated to believe.
Soraya looked at the clock on the wall which just showed 5:30 in the morning. She had never woken up this early in her life and for the first time she had to.
After a few minutes of silence, Soraya realized that since she had tried to sleep last night, she had not felt any sign of Robert Stanley around her. She did not know where the man's room was, since he asked Soraya to return to the living room and sleep, Soraya had not seen him again.
Kruuyuukkk
Her stomach rumbled, she was hungry this morning and of course this wasn't something that usually happened to her.
"I'm so hungry! Should I just go home and look for food outside? But it's still too early, there must be no shops open yet. How is it?" Soraya rubbed her stomach which continued to growl and she knew that was not a good thing.
Suddenly, she thought of an idea she might do. Sneaking into the kitchen and looking for something she could eat.
"Do I just look for food in the kitchen? Maybe in the cupboard or in the fridge there's something I can eat. But he forbids me to touch the fridge, right?" Soraya started to panic. Her mind and soul began to feel in the middle of a complicated crossroads, forcing her to act immediately at any cost.
Kruuyuukkk
"Ahh...my stomach is growling, I'm so hungry! No, what can I do. I have to go to the kitchen and find something. If he catches me, I just need to tell him the truth that I'm hungry and I'm afraid to disturb him." She mumbled confidently.
Having made up her mind to go forward, Soraya took slow steps towards the kitchen of this house. She walked so carefully that her footsteps could not be heard at all.
While it looks easy, it's actually really hard to do. Given that the inhabitants of this house are mysterious strange men who are crazy about cleanliness. It would be quite difficult for him to understand the situation Soraya was in.
"Yosh, I'm in the kitchen! There doesn't seem to be any sign of him here. All right, I just need to open the fridge and look for some fruit or bread. Anything important I can eat!" She thought. Soraya is passionate about food. After making sure things were safe enough, Soraya walked to the refrigerator and carefully opened the refrigerator door.
"Huh?" Her eyes bulged when she saw a strange object lying in the refrigerator. A piece of human hand. Yes, a human hand covered in blood and half frozen.
"Kyaaaa...." Realizing the horror she saw before her eyes. Soraya screamed hysterically and jumped back a few steps back with a pale face and trembling body.
Her screams seemed to attract the attention of the householder who immediately approached her with a horrifying murderous look.
"What are you doing? How dare you open my fridge!"
"I-I'm sorry... Please don't kill me... please...!"
***
"Please don't kill me! I beg you...!"
Bruukkk
Soraya gasped when she felt a fairly hard floor hit her head.
"Au..." Her eyes immediately opened and her hand spontaneously touched her sore forehead.
With her eyes still half closed, she began to realize that she had just had a bad dream and fell off the couch. This is completely unexpected. Soraya felt the dream she had just seen felt so real and made her really scared even though she was awake now.
Soraya snorted, she smelled a delicious aroma that came from nowhere. The smell of freshly baked bread in the oven and the delicious aroma of chocolate and hazelnut butter. The aroma of fried eggs and savory sliced meat.
Kruuyuukkk
"I'm hungry! Who's cooking so early?" She muttered. Her eyes glanced at the clock on the wall. The time is 6.30 in the morning.
Soraya got up and walked along with this delicious scent, hoping for something good to come to her on this sunny morning.
In the kitchen, Soraya saw Robert Stanley remove bread from the grill and arrange it on a wooden bowl. The smell of bread filled the house, too fragrant to make Soraya's saliva flow without her noticing.
"Freshly baked home made bread. It must be delicious!" Soraya wiped her saliva. She swallowed. It made her stomach growl again.
Kruuyuukkk
"D-damn, my stomach!" She thought. She couldn't control the noises in her stomach.
Robert Stanley heard it or maybe he had known from the start that Soraya was peering at him from there with a pitiful look.
"What are you doing?" He asked with an unfriendly expression on his face and tone of voice.
Soraya shuddered, although she felt hungry, but honestly she was more afraid. Especially when her eyes fell on the fridge which was right near the man. It made Soraya shudder.
"I-I just, I smelled freshly baked bread, so I-" She stuttered. She had completely lost the ability to speak properly because of those damn rumors.
Robert seemed to understand, he set two servings of food on the table. And with his nonchalant attitude, he seemed to be ignoring Soraya.
"Sit down and eat! After that, you can go home!" He said. He pulled a chair quietly, eating breakfast he made himself.
Soraya swallowed again, hesitatingly walked towards the dining table, taking her place across from Robert who was enjoying her meal in silence.
Soraya was stunned, seeing a plate of food that made her immediately think of her home and mother. Two slices of toast that is still warm, eggs fried in butter, sliced bacon, sausage and a bowl of beans. Beside the plate, a glass of milk and hazelnut jam made her want to cry.
Soraya immediately ate the food without hesitation. Tears welled up in her eyes, she felt very happy. Somehow, she felt like she was at home.
"Why are you crying? If it tastes disgusting, it's better not to eat it!"
"It's not like that! It's just so delicious that it reminds me of my mother's cooking at home. It's so delicious I want to cry." She said.
Robert was silent for a moment, then took a sip of the black coffee in the cup.
"Finish your food! Don't leave any!"
"Yes, Sir!"
